    tree surgeons

Hard graft, long hours, shite pay!! Other than that its a good job!! Different challenge everyday. It all depends on what you want to do. Climb or keep your feet firmly on the ground. You will need to do your basic chainsaw qualifications. Then go on to do further units ie climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw up a tree etc etc. Google local courses close to you. NPTC Chainsaw related opperations An idea would be to try get a job with a local firm to test it out first, Its not a cheap career to pay for yourself, especially if you dont like it. Hope this helps and good lu

  17. Duffus type trap anyday and of course of quality build, as said many times on this forum by many members " why put a trap in the ground that will only catch one?" However the quality of the trap is reflected in the price, but needless to say i have trapped with both good quality and the lesser. You just get more life from a good quality trap. Like a duracell bunny. I have had some success from both scissor and talpex but find that duffus types are the better, horses for courses i suppose. Dont be fooled though by what is sold as a quality trap, i have come across good, well built ba

  19. I wonder how many he photographed before he realised that he was on with compiling the alphabet and that was going to be his mission. Which letter was the last? I bet that was the hardest to find and wait for, like a winning lottery number, 4,4,come on 4, no its a 5 oh bugger
  20. That is very impressive and it must have taken a fair number of butterflys to compile that. Where did you find that
  21. looks like i got ripped off then owell lol The most important thing is, you will know better and be wiser next time
  22. Dont hold back, you tell him how it is pal
  23. You will need to work out a rate that suits you, so you make a touch and pay for your outlay, Insurance,PPE, Application eqpt and not to mention recouping the money you paid for your training. The amount of flasks you require for the job around £20 + Vat each, its not worth making a mark up on the price per flask with most farmers, they are not stupid and can buy it as readilly as you (without a ticket), but i would charge for your time and fuel collecting it. An hourly rate that suits you and takes in the above, so your not doing yourself out of pocket. Happy days.
  24. Whos bred the mink into them?? Are they genuine polecats that your selling??
