  1. A customer of mine has a large walled garden on three sides and stock fence on the other and the neighbours hole of a farm( to put it politley). I would land to do the moles and on occasion often saw the odd rabbit. Now looking to spending more time of their retirement in the garden they began to invest in rabbit food no sorry, i meant plants!! which the rabbits took a delight to! At a glance i would have said the bunny population was no more than a good dozen or so. I have mooched most of the land which borders the foresaid farm within my daily duties and only now and again have i seen the

  8. Moles are definatley on the increase, on a good majority of the land i trap i have caught more this year than in the past. Healthy numbers without a doubt. It all comes down to the issue of your neighbours moles! Dissapointing at times when you know your only going to thin out the numbers for a while. However the nice bonus is that you know you will be back the following year I dont think the cold weather has any effect. I harrow most of my jobs before a trap goes in the ground so we have an idea where the active runs are. The last lot of frosts we had the ground froze to a depth of around
  9. Pictures and prices may be an advantage, are your traps and cages genuine or imported chinese crap? A contribution towards the forum would also be a start.

  17. It is possible but would take some careful engineering High pressure, decant and purge, take those factors into consideration and its possible To add; fairly expensive.
  18. I wouldnt bother with anything less than a 26, you should be able to pick one up for around £200-£250 top end for a 2008+ model. DONT buy from evil bay, you will end up paying the odds for an old saw a tree firm have abused!!
  19. It could be that your setting technique isnt much kop, have you also fettled your traps? Just keep at it and the penny will soon drop

Are you flirting with me buster DEE, The silencer is a BSA SAS, it made a slight improvment from the bsa one i had previous. With the rifle being a carbine its a noisy little fecker anyway, but has yet to let me down. If your S10 has the standard barrel there is an AWT silencer thats the mutts nuts
  22. Despite the bloody rain lashing it down all weekend it wasnt going to spoil todays outing! I have been up at the farm all week with the old boy wittering about the pigeons in the barns, All 7 of them! In all honesty they are not much of the problem but they bug the s**t out of the old boy. I found a couple of hours spare this morning and decided to nap one or two. After a good scout about turned up no pigeons (flaming typical they have been here all week), i headed across to the wood to deal with a couple of squirrels i have had my eye on for a while. As not to dissapoint they were out in f
