  1. Its easy!!, if your in any doubt, just post it to me, i will take it off your hands FOC no problem In fact im in such a good mood i will give you a couple of quid towards postage. I look forward to your pm requesting my address and i hope the issue is now cleared Many thanks
  2. Everybody is a molecatcher! Its just that some have a little trouble working out what to charge. Myself and morton included Seems we are selling ourselves short
  3. I find it beyond belief that folk will pay a tenner a mole, regardless of a trap setting fee. I am in no way disputing some of the mole charge claims, each to his own and that but a tenner a mole plus trap setting fee There must be some very rich molecatchers out there!! There is no way on this earth any farmer i work for would pay that! You would be well on your way and the next moleman lining up for the work would be laughing. I can do well in excess of a hundred moles a week during my busy period and weather permitting. I would love to think i was drawing over a grand a week. C
  4. What kind of box trap are you talking about? A tunnel with a fenn inside? or something a little different?
  5. All i use are bethel rhodes traps, they havent changed in years. The only change they have made was to make the top plate thicker. I use their traps day in day out and they have never failed to let me down. I have however had FP traps that were unworkable. The wires were made from a too heavy guage steel and it took molegrips and a vice to fettle them (no pun intended!!).
  6. You and a few thousand others from this site Best of luck with that
  7. Im with you on this buster. I have never had to re-zero any rifle after fitting it with a lamp. As already said your judgement of distance will alter but thats down to your eyesight not your set up.
  8. Hi and welcome to the site. Anytime is good for rabbits but if your wanting easy rabbits, over the summer months would be best as most are as green as the hills. They get a little wiser as they get older but your success will all depend on your approach and fieldcraft. The more you hit them with a lamp the shyer they will become as to adding to the challenge. Wet and windy nights are generally winners but it all depends on the type of shooting your into. Personally sat waiting for the bunnys to come to you isnt for me but each to his own. Remember, the more rabbits you shoot over
  9. Accupel for the S10 .22. Tried plenty of other brands but i find these the most consistent.

  11. After Toka's request for a battery charger i made him an offer to send him it free if he posted up a free item for the young hunters amongst us. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/195415-deben-12v-charger/page__pid__1979766#entry1979766 Toka has already been offered a charger from another member but suggested that mine was put up in this section for somebody and in turn he will put something up. His post will follow shortly. Good man Free to a younger member, Deben 6/12v battery charger. Will charge most sealed lead acid batterys up to 7ah. It does not have the deben cone
  12. I have one i will swap with you. It DOES NOT have a connector on it, i cut the silly deben thing off a while ago. The charger works no problem, 6 or 12v. I will put some good spade connectors on so you can plug it direct to the battery or attatch your own plug. If you put something up free in the young hunters section, ie some purse nets, snares, a book etc etc you can have it PM me your details
  13. Have a read through this forum, there are countless useful posts which should answer your question. Or you could always smoke them out and get a pack of terriers in
  14. Nice pics I can confirm its getting warmer, my ducks have started laying
  15. Back to my earlier comment on this thread, a couple of days ago i came across a totally submerged run with slight activity here and there so decided to drop a trap in. No picture taken when the trap went in as it was bucketing it down, Although the water level had dropped a little it was still up to the top of the trap. I come across this regular on some of the wetter land i trap on. Scuba moles
  16. Fibreglass ferret boxes have been around in the UK a while and come in whatever colour your after, singles doubles or tripple boxes
  17. Well done, its a smart looking box
  18. This may do the job http://www.killgerm.com/product-group.php?group=129 Its round about £12 a litre + vat + P&P
  19. One mans rubbish is another mans treasure
  20. To put it bluntly mate " RAPED " We have had a bad doo recently with poaching scrotes and little pricks with thier bull crosses. On some spots the bunny populations are ok but lampshy as hell With a little vigilance on watching our spots they should recover and the grass is always greener on the other side Be in touch soon matey
  21. They are ok for close up, ideal for the rats. I have a selection of the led lensers. Handy little lights. Good write up, let us know how you get on with it
  22. The smallest box i could do you would be a single im afraid. I cant downscale the size of my double box it wouldnt be fair on the ferrets. The ply we both use is lightweight. I cant speak for michael but im sure his box's are as light as mine Just choose the box you like the look of
  23. I weld an 8" bar of stainless to the rings but always leave the rings on, these come in usefull if you have to clip an extension on. The stainless rod doesent suit all ground types though, no matter how hard you bang them in, so a wooden peg can be slotted through the ring just to be on the safe side.
