  1. £32+ postage? If it comes with a 12 month warranty you can have thirty two nicker. £28 inc postage
  2. As already said, thats nissan for you. The start/stop selanoid stuck on my fuel injector pump so priced a replacement, nissans reply " im sorry, its a non serviceable part! you will need a new FIP, at a cost of £2625 + VAT " Or easily translated as " sorry, computer says no! " It cost me £3 for a socket and a bit of fettling to make a tool, job sorted. Makes you think how many people take it on the chin and have their pants pulled down, good and proper!! Well done to you
  3. I like your idea but there is no way i would be lugging that about, fair play to you though. Alternatives would be, Quad bike, or your own sherpa's. You could always stick wheels on it and ride it back to the motor.
  4. A shooting buddy of mine has just had his s410 overhauled by air arms. One of the items they changed was a previously purchased (from AA) trigger with safety. Now the problem is the feckin thing rattles like a half empty box of tick tacks. I am sure i have heard somewhere on the grapevine that there should be a 3rd sear within the trigger unit to cure this?? If this is the case i am a little puzzled as to by the tech guy at AA failed to mention this. Proper replys only please i need facts not hearsay, come on buster my special fairy, where are you when i need you
  5. Lol, yes. the wheels do turn slow on here sometimes, but they do turn
  6. Lowa, reasonably priced for the hammer they can take, just bought a new pair after two years wear, but the old ones are still going strong, just look a bit tired. Hanwag are ok but a bit overpriced and my last pair only lasted me 12 months.
  7. Smart bloody boxes them, they look well made, best of luck to you. Out of interest, what clamping system have you come up with to fix to the bike? or is it box only?
  8. Perhaps so, or they might continue to follow the drain lines or even travel above ground, who knows. Hopefully the results will speak for themselves.
  9. Nice that your proud of your lad he looks well chuffed As to your shorts, well, are they pretty flowers
  10. Leave the bark on and just store it somewhere cool and dry, dont force dry. It should only take a few months to dry, you will know when the underbark is no longer green.
  11. I guess so,but they do have there uses, provided the conditions are A1 and your unit works
  12. Chimp, i bet you only smoke after sex, so im guessing that makes you a thirty a day man
  13. Rattatack you didnt make no reference to ali phos, its just a point i thought i would highlight, appologies if it got your back up. Right then, flogging a dead horse, here we go; After giving some thought and looking into the various devices on the market we decided to purchase one of the tunnel collapsing macines, with a clear idea of what we were hoping to achive. We have not advertised and told the world we have a tunnel blaster nor have we pushed this service upon any client. We took delivery of the device in october of last year for use in problem areas (moles) on our own
  14. What does just being out with your rifle in the fresh air and enjoying the wonderful little moments of nature you see, the sweet smells of the fields and the shades of trees in the dusk and rising mists, and a single shot rabbit for your supper do for you? I just ask in the light of your reference to the wildlife as "Gear"! Sounds a bit romantic that pianoman  Can i come and we can hold hands
  15. They do have there advantages but thats a horse im not backing on here with all the prejudice. Each to their own. As to the clients who dont want it, they dont get it. It is not a service that gets thrust upon somebody. Logun, if you were using the device within accordance of the guidelines and had gassed/trapped and kept records whats the issue? (other than the inconvenience).
  16. Yes and the use of alley phos gas is a much better way to die?? No dig intended, but defra and natural england reccomend the use of gas to vacate occupied runs before blasting. And we all know how successfull that method is!! I have one of these devices and yes i use it, For the removal of tunnel systems. I trap more than my fair share of moles, using traditioanl teqhniques and have done for a good number of years. Molecatching makes up probably % of my work. The tunnel blaster adds to the service i offer, some want it some dont but by the time it comes into use i will have already
  17. I would like to say work but its slowly become a way of life
  18. All this talk of parasites in pork, but for those who dont freeze thier rabbits or meat before feeding, do these parasites in rabbits/meat not affect your ferrets? Rabbits sheep and cows all eat the same grass and pick up the same worms. You can gut a rabbit and not find any sign of parasite infection ( well do you route through the guts and check the intestine?), not remove the pelt, so not discovering any cysts, or doing all of the above and still missing a cyst in the chest cavity or behind a muscle etc. Yes parasites may be species specific but do you really know what your ferrets eating
  19. Get yourself down to your local market or source your butchers. A lot will cut up, bone and trim on certain days. Providing loads of good gear for animals. On my butchers busy day i can come away with a good half dozen bin liners of trim, thats more than i can cope with each week even freezing the stuff. Yes it can contain loads of pork fat and skin, but as you sift through you can soon balance it all out. Get round the butchers and ask, most will have somebody who takes it but there is always those who have to pay to get rid of it.
