  1. Have a bump on me!! If you take all the pockets off it can be used in addition to a belt double battery lamping pack, without much imagination. easily transfers the weight from your hips to your shoulders. Not to mention plenty of space to hang your rabbits from.
  2. If you run the pressure right down, ie shoot say 100+ shots, there wont be enough pressure in the bottle to keep the valve shut. All of mine do it. The air doesent hiss out at great pressure, more of a low constant flow. If its doing it when you have just charged the buddy bottle then there is definately a fault with the valve.
  3. Try a rabbit stopper, may cost a little bit in the replacement co2 bulbs but will provide hours of fun and a snitch of the price of a pcp. Light, no recoil so your young un wont loose interest from not being accurate and most of all it will hold its value to sell on. You can then move up to a springer, when he has the muscles , or make the investment to a pcp. A rat-catcher with a stock may be an alternative, or if your wanting to spend some money and can find one, something from the brocock range. As 8shot says a meteor is a good starting springer, but my young un struggled for a t

Oh the injustice, makes my heart bleed for them. Local news the other day, a lad broke into a secluded farm house in the late hours, had a do with the owner after frightening the life out the wife and got away with a caution because he had no previous convictions . How many times before had he burgled and not been caught?? How many times doing burgalary does it take to get a conviction? legislation has been proposed to be changed this week, going on the serverity of the crime and the impact it has on the victim! Its all bol**x. Gets 15 years for delivering drugs he knew nothing abou

  17. Very smart Mine all look a little funny at the moment as they are nursing and have their summer coats, i will post a pic when im not pestering them. I did have a jill, sadly she died last year. If you put her down you were digging!! She would bolt rabbits but was too fast for the kill. Well fed before an outing and she would still kill down the hole. Bonus was she found all the stop ends. My young un wanted to enter the jill at the local game fair in the ferret racing, which we did to please her. The jill wouldnt entertain any of it. No scent, no racing , seemed embarasing at t
  18. Decent ferret then, stood her ground and worked her nose to the stop ends
  19. Must say ferreting this time of year usually means a lot of this

  21. I knew you would add your ten peneth But i suppose they are plausable excuses
  22. By the time you have paid for a new underlever, reblued the metal work, varnished the stock, added a new scope rail, paid for a new safety button ( supposing that nothing else is missing) Replaced the spring and piston seals..............etc etc. What will you have in the rifle? Value wise............? Unless you are going to bring it back to concourse condition to retain a little value it sounds like a loser to me. Like jacko boy says, hobby. Bid your mate in the nuts and it may be worth doing
