    yep sounds handy enough dog, but 200 mile round trip and a fecked dog if it would of fecked off on ya and got hit by a motor or running loose all night , each to there own im not one for buying adult dogs myself but common sense is let the dog settle for a while , but like i said sounds handy enough and all the best with it

    apart from the dangers in big winds pylon wires, falling branches,etc , ive never found real strong winds to effect rabbit numbers myself just gotta keep you wits about you abit more , ill just keep that little bit further out from the edge tonight, moons right up but the sound of that wind hard to resist

    was talking to my mate the other night about this and although it has been very wet this winter it has been very consistently windy, drizzle which makes for good lamping , the wet is a pain at times but at least it anit been still frostly, misty, nights with frozen ground where you cant do nothing with the dogs

    they would of been advided to go to crown if they went not guilty to get a fairer trial , if found guilty hope the judge chucks the book at them , bad craic that theifing mens stock [ had a dog took myself years ago not nice to wake up and see there gone

    to be fair hes spot on see it every week, you have the manager and coach telling the kids what to do and how to do it then the parents coaching from the side line who havent got a clue screaming at there kids who they gonna listern to, most of the time the parents want the win more than the kids , seen parents crusifie kids for making mistakes and costing them the game,

    i normarly drop a few off then pick up on way home but this spot i lamped theres nowhere to do that so had carry with me and when your on that sticky seed you know youve done it

    when out last night was seeing a hell of alot hares about 10-15s in 30 acre fields , dont know if the long summer has helped but defintly alot about this year

    had a look out last night was perfect conditions for it blowing real strong and a little bit cooler for the dog than it has been, plenty of rabbits about and the dog run well , this is her second season and shes starting to really come on now ending the night with 23

    always do my dogs feet as soon as in the door with warm salty water and a nail brush ,

    wouldnt ferret with out one myself, i think you can tell alot about whats goning on under ground with one , can give ya an idea on which way, end of warren there working pushing the rabbits to etc, also the amount of times ive got shallow readings and just pushed the spade in and got a quick bolt countless times , a [locator] can save you a hell of alot of time, more time more ferreting imo

    the plastic coatings different if you look closely , one has got lines on and the other hasnt
