  1. i beleive in starting them early 7 months onwards, ok doubling up with experienced dog for a couple of runs but to much and when run single will always be looking for the other dog, but a whippet id hold back abit maybe 9 or 10 months only the person who knows the dog knows when there ready
  2. a good bull cross will take the beating but a good [deerhound/grey] [wheaton/grey]
  3. well mate im going up myself end of march to buy a dog off him 3/4 greyhound 1/8beardie 1/8border, tried a few differnet breed but fancy something with a bit of brain in it now been looking everywhere it only hancock that i can find selling straight collie x everything seem s to have bull in it somewhere. yep well bred collie/greyhounds few and far between i was looking for a while before i found my dog
  4. agree hares much easier on the lamp,but a springer catching now that id love to see

  7. 30 mph wind here at the momment be out to give my pup a couple of slips if the wind stay up

  9. we have the eye in the sky on us nearly every time were out total waste of of money when were on perrmission, but i think its getting to know now it just hovers over us for a minute then fecks off, its in the air every night where were at the money its wasting is unbelivible
  10. as long as the bitch is in good nick health ect should be fine
  11. myself coundnt have a dog run like that, only a matter of time before they bust them selfs on barb wire or hidden fence posts but each to their own
  12. all depends on the conditions weather wise, rough night get on them ,still night long slips
  13. the real fast dogs ive seen still catch well but just make real hard work out of it till they learn to slow up abit jmho
