    i think the time of year can play a big part in what age to start, i wouldnt be starting to early if towards end of season when everthings flying, but if harvest time might let them have a look abit earlier, every dogs different and some will be ready and some wont, but imo 12 -14 months

    always good check over do there feet in warm salty water and clean there nails,dry them off if wet rub down good bowl of grub then away

    it would be to the person that sold it ,but standards and opinions of a worker from one person to next can be so different, but your right in saying its about making the right choice of dog in the first place where alot go wrong imo

    first couple for a pup ill find a squatters right out and ill kick up for them then once they start spotting them ill start trying to send the pup out to them

    had a quick look over the back with the keeper, he shot a couple for me dog to retrevie now getting back to fitness,but nice to be out and soft ground aswell at last,sorry not the best of pics

    its not all about calling them you can walk onto alot of foxes on rough nights mate,spot him lamp off and walk onto it as long as youve got the wind half right you,ll be surprised how many you can walk onto ,some will call in some wont,but likes been said a filters a must
