    never really been in a situation like that before so couldnt say but would proberly be one of them cases when you get stuck in and help out and end up getting a good pasting or locked for it always the way ,but if a good mate or family no question, a stranger i really dont know what id do

    was a great night for it last night a good wind with a nice light drizzle,first few fields they werent nothing about only a couple on the headge row here and there felt like someone had just been about but went further a field and started to see afew, the dog ran well and i called it a night with 15, but the bug bear at the minute is the rape fields never have i seen it this high at this time of year but afew frosts should take it down abit cheers

    sorry mate but got no sympathy for people who get caught out buying ready made dogs just looking for the quick option rear on a pup then only got yourself to blame if it dont work out,[ GOOD adult working dogs forsale are very few and far between]

    just keep putting them infront of it till the end of the season then you will have a idea what you got, full second season normarly you start to see what you got imo atb with it

    the thing with a filter its not all about dimming the light etc its that you can pick an eye up alot better,you get rabbits squatting out in stubble ect they take some spotting without one, with a filter on if its out there youll pick it up, myself could never lamp without one, i find by leaving it till the last sec as the dog gets out to the bunny then flicking it of the dog alot of the time can get very close before the rabbits lifts but everybody lamps different and what works for one wont for another

    another very good haul there between the dogs and owners,but just out of intrest does the dogs ever get sore ,stoppers,nails,etc after running a night of them sort of numbers up there
