me and look up of here had another day at a place we done a couple of weeks ago still a few about and we had a bit of sort, was mainly working last years young today and they are starting to get to know there job and working well,only had a couple of digs the rabbits bolted well but when cleaning them started to notice and couple with young in and a right young one on one dig bottom left of pic but picked up 22 but will leave this place till next year now end of day pic [gotta get a better camera]

ther,s allways bin foxs,were it 2 year ago or 20,,iff owt more big guns now than ever bin,,so i wud not say fox his down to the rabbs decrease,,,the foxs get some stick of these big guns big time,, Would reply to that comment but havent got a flying 5uck what you are on about sorry mate ! i would say there were more foxes were kicking about in the early days of lamping as hardly any old dog men bothered with them and no one really had guns so i very much doubt its anything to do with foxes foxes will take the odd rabbit but rabbits are not there main food source not enough to wipe

me and look up of here had a look at another place today bit of a run but theres a few to go at there and the owner is giving us a drink at the end of it so cant be bad,not the easiest of ferreting but we got a few [20]and will be going back,bit of a s##t pic but youll get the jest didnt take it till we got back and was dark by then lol again a few digs lol and end of day pic

none of them yesterday had any signs of young in them, but had the odd one lately in young

had a look back at a place we ferreted last week still a few about and there was a good frost this morning, the rabbits bolted well and only a couple of digs which werent to bad, but we had abit of sport all in all a nice morning out and finished with 24

the [belstone fox] a good watch,where the [red fern grows] but not set in uk,both old films but well worth a watch,and theres one on youtube i think its called the gamekeeper which is good

yeah netted them mate,but do like a day with just dog and ferrets and leaving a few holes open for them

do you mean a dog thats just used to flush hares to the gun then lamping it, i think it would be down to how much and where it was lamped imo,

had a look out today with look up of here for abit of ferreting ,was on a new place today hadnt been here before so was taking it as we find it but theres plenty to go at and will be going back next week , bit of a late start as had to drop the boy of at school first so got going about 9 oclock but the rabbits bolted well and we got a few between us had a couple of digs this one had 3 there all in all a nice day for it and finished with 30

right land, dog,night ,etc imo i think it can be done but i think the person on the lamp would play as big as part as the dog [making it as easy as you can for it] ,theres a big difference to going out for a spin and going out for numbers imo, ive never owned a dog even capible of half of a ton but belive it could be done
