RVWTC went and rescued 2 pups,they had fallen down a hole in a field near Mansfield. The black one was on loan to Mark Stocks from a well known terrier man. After the rescue the terrier man was told the pup was stolen. Photo of Mark Stocks with the two rescued pups.

We are missing something, when these scum are caught with stolen dogs, the dogs are recovered and the scum get what they require to remember this, but that has been the end of it. Put their names address and photo's up on every dog site on the net, in every dog mag, all dog shows, and posters around were they are living. A friendly hello every time they are seen in public. There is a lost an found section on most sites, but they are usualy tucked away. It would be good if we had to look through the lost and found section first, to get into other sections. May be mods could look into this.

SMELLY DOGS READ THE LAST LINE I agree with what you are saying, EVERYONE knowing any concrete info should state it openly. Naming people involed in stolen working dogs is the only way forward. Did you take any reg numbers. Any one seeing anything that makes you think dog thieves, try an get good info. Reg numbers, what the people look like, any names used. Correct info will go towards stopping these scum.

Rother Valley WTC are trying to organise working dog clubs to work together, with the help of Barry Wade Working Terrier Federation and FMWTC. Talking about having a Text and internet Alert to all club reps. So if a dog is stolen in Scotland and a reg is seen, the owner tells his rep, the rep texts info to ALL club reps and they text all their members. There will be a meeting for any club reps as soon as pos. If you are in a Lurcher, Terrier, Gun Dog or Hound Club get your reps to get in touch with RVWTC, Info to contact in back of EDRD. Meeting will be, any ideas to prevent Thieving.

What was the registration, especially the last 2 digits? what was discription of van, must have something differant as lots of transits going on ferry and you found right one.

If people stop putting a price on working terriers, then scum would not steal them. The scum are only interested in making money thats the reason they steal to make money...

Post #1 Pleased to hear that BUSHINGBOYS Hound crosses were found up for sale at Watton fair.The arseholes who had them up for sale had quite a few terriers there as well .Police were involved so some others might be as lucky as Callum Donnyc did Callum not get names of these scum. What happened to the terriers they had with them? What did police do?

Are there many dog dealers aboard offering working dogs. Someone is selling these stolen dogs, just asking mate cos you know working lads in many places... Good job you doing with the stolen section

I'd put money in. But we need to find the dealers and buyers of stolen working dogs to stop this trade. If they cannot sell working dogs, they will not steal them. £££s motivate stealing scum and the dealers. Owning a ready made working dog the easy way, motivates the buyers!

IF EVERY MEMBER ON THESE SITES LOOKS AROUND THEIR OWN AREAS AND ALSO ASKS AROUND EVERYONE THEY KNOW IN WORKING DOGS, THAT SHOULD COVER EVERY AREA HERE AND ACROSS THE WATER. SOMEONE IS SELLING A LOT OF GOOD WORKING DOGS. EVEN WORSE SOMEONE IS BUYING STOLEN WORING DOGS AND COVERING UP FOR THE SCUM. ANYONE BUYING A ADULT DOG OR PUP WITHOUT CHECKING THE HISTORY, IS ENCOURAGING THESE STEALING SCUM, AND ARE WORSE THAN THE STEALING SCUM. WORK ON, IF THERES NO PROVEN HISTORY WITH A STUD DOG, MOTHER TO PUPS OR PUP ITS STOLEN AND WALK AWAY AND INFORM OTHERS.

Scum have bin at it again,stolen Barnsley area 1 choc dog, 1 11month red dog, 3 black bitches, all smooth coats. only info I got so far.

Theifing scum at it again. Just bin told 1 chocolate dog, 1 11month red dog and 3 black bitches stolen from a lad Sunday night. Keep a look out. when I get more info or photo's I will put them up. Wakefield near Barnsley area again . These scum must be stealing to order, they got to be shifting them some distance. Anyone getting these stolen dogs are as bad or worse than the scum stealing them. When your offered a pup or adult dog make sure its nothing to do with stolen dogs....
