Matt I never said the FSB had anything to do with the sale, trust me if your genuine about joining you won't look back, the contacts alone are worth it. Can I just add I was in talks to a member of the FSB about trade marking Moles UK thats how serious I was.
-
Matt If you want to pm me your contact details I'll be happy to talk to you. I understand the reasons for your questions, can I ask if anyone on here has posted they been ripped off? I don't think they will be such posts. Its sad when the world has got so shitty that all genuine offers are treated with suspicion.

Bring your solicitor to meet mine and lets discuss your unfounded allegations, anyone feel free to report this matter to the police. I was genuinely offering a service, no details have been sold on. IT was the database that they wanted, the domain is my property to do with as I wish. question 3 see first answer. question 4 no details have been sold on, I am fully converse with the data protection act. Interest was prior but was not selling so was still seeking members. I don't need to work, I do it cause I like work, a lot of business men do the same, no law against it. The people cheques are

I think and hope not many people parted with their money........if something looks too good to be true.........it usually is! Oh dear, I would never rip anyone off, the deal is subject to the cheque arriving and clearing. Contracts don't take for ever to do. It was a genuine effort at creating a directory, no cheques have been cashed all to be returned. Members on here will justify this, I don't need the money as a member of the FSB I have to be fully accountable. All my details were there for all to see, I understand where your coming from, but I ain't a rip off merchant. The data

I don't know who you are but a MASSIVE THANK YOU The Moles UK has been sold, cause someone on here had the foresight to see beyond the advertising, marketing and see the power of the postal code database. They informed someone ( a PCO company ) who has bought us out, a offer we could not refuse. So that's it, they don't want members they have thier own operatives, thanks to all.

Type in moles or mole control ............ and then take a look to the right, the site is being optimised for the organics. My own site appears at the top of this forum in the google ads, among many gardening forums as does Moles UK, I would not expect someone to type in Moles UK to find me? In the real world all the above you mention takes money and time, we not here for a quick buck but long term, I use to do web design as a living I know how things work. What does £5 get you advertising wise in the real world? I not twisting your arm. That's it seriously last post, admin@molesuk.co

Inundated too, it would be nice to pass on work to fellow members, and it could help the individual to join forces with another to take on larger contracts. As I stated in one post its not a work guarenteed directory, so I not going to make empty promises. Rolfe is correct its a gamble. We feel how ever the customer would know the member is insured and competant. We are still talking to the insurance company about a blanket policy for Moles UK members, to be honest I think the best we will get is a discounted price, they offered £20 M&S vouchers for each member????? Well took enough
-
Complaints would be investigated before any action taken, I understand where your coming from, I turned down a job yesterday cause I had a gut feeling that they were not all there. £5 is to get the ball rolling to prove to the doubters it will work, we done the database so need to cover some of the outlay, we nothing to hide. As I say not twisiting anyones arm, contact admin@molesuk.co.uk for membership details. My last post on this guys, you can like it or not like the directory the freedom of choice is yours. Thanks for all the feedback some lessons have been learnt from it.
-
Already being promoted in Google ads, and yes it will be hard copied marketed, but not as big a ad as was intended. And the site is very simple to use i'm sure you would agree. Ok I really do have to get some work done, last post on this. admin@molesuk.co.uk Thanks everyone.

Throwing traps away after 20 catches
Tyke replied to Matt's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
The powers that be are looking to make this law, 20 uses max, a lot going on in the background regarding mole trapping. I have been told from a very reliable source involved in this that the research could take 3 years. A lot of us think laws will be kicking in a lot sooner, hopefully the one that ststes traps not to be sold to the general public. The latter can only be good for the professional. Right time to get some contracts written, work to do. Sorry, but this is incorrect information. The government are looking at an approval system for all traps, which will enable them to com -
What, like the Talpex? Sorry, but I'm yet to be convinced. Ok we took on board your doubts as well as others, though a few have signed on. We have discussed it, we want to prove this will work and better for members to have a voice when the new laws on mole trapping kick in, by personal experience the powers that be will listen to a association then a lot of lone voices. So here is the final offer for membership. First year = £5 Each year there after £10 ( you can pull out after first year ) free 6 postal codes 00.90p each additional one. Free members forum, p

Thats going to limit things somewhat, given there are no 'approved' traps in the UK. Mole traps are exempt from the Spring Trap Approval Orders, so this is just silly. Matt British made traps, saves folk buying the usless imported crap. If a member states he wants a british made trap and is sold a cheap import, and the member does not know this and the trap fails to operate properly, he contacts us we take up his case. We are offering a lot more than the BTMR, a lot, lot more. Only members get work not non members, we allow the 2 legal methods of control not just traditional

Agree DS I too also thought the way you have, and that was one of the reasons it was dismissed. It would be more benifical if the feedback was about the service that Moles UK members provided, then all members would benifit. Appreciate your input.
-
Valid point and we been in long discussions about this, one was alphabetical, I was not happy with that, ABC company will always be first. So we thought a rotation of names. The customer comes in see five members your at the top, next customer comes in your bottom and then go back up to the top after each customer visit, complicated to achieve? Customer feed back? Your scored on your feedback, could work but you could end up with 3 members with equal feedback, so nothing resolved. Let the database random select, making sure each member has same exposure, this seems the way forward but would n

Fair comment, I came out of the BTMR it does not allow members to use Talunex, and is a amatuer association. As for making money, that will come from sponsors, the membership will pay for each members space on the database, these things cost money in the real world, but we don't work for nothing. I not twisting anyones arm to join. To me £55 then £10 per year there after is a good deal. Moles UK is now a member of the Federation of Small Business the details will be on the front page shortly, Moles UK will be coming part of a UK Directory I now have access to over 117000+ potential custo

Just to clear up the membership costs. £55 for year one. + 0.90p for post codes after your free 6 ones + £7.50 for a ............@molesuk.co.uk email address If you don't want additional stuff then its just £55 £10 only each year there after. + 0.90p for post codes after your free 6 ones + £7.50 for a ............@molesuk.co.uk email address We felt why keep charging members for something that needs only be set up once for each individual, ( your page and details and putting in your post codes )

26 years ago maybe, I look good for a old git. Glad your giving it some thought, I want all to do the same no arm twisting from me, it has to be your desicion. Would be good to have a real voice when the threat of a mole trapping ban kicks in, ( research going on now, will take about 3 years ) the more informed, prepared and together we all are the better. I would like the directory to be also a help to those who are turning down large jobs cause of lack of knowledge or feel they can not handle it, think of it as a co op, they can turn to thier neighbouring moler and share the wor

Did so a while back? Let me know if you have not received it.

the farmers may do it theirselves...... the sooner its banned the better...but the trouble is now they are over here they will be hard to get rid of Farmers are doing it themselves and even renting out to neighbouring farms, no control over this????????????? I emailed several contractors pointing out the danger of un trained use and the damage they could be doing which is going unseen plus the report from top guys about habitat destruction for other species. They did not give a toss, one said he was sure they was no mis use???????????? All they care about is sales, and when the

Saves me emailing everyone Forward thinking so both modern ( except burrowblaster and family) and traditional methods of control are acceptable, as long as it is carried out in a legal way. Membership of the Moles UK Directory ( MUK ) Code of practise 1 To respect moles at all times 2 Carryout any form of mole management in accordance to the code of practice 3 No work to be carried out without a valid and current public liability insurance ( discussing membership cover with broker, I have £5000000 but £1000000 should suffice for most of you, I can get this at

Lets hope it does not take a very serious accident for those who have control of the law to change it. Anyone using this device have no need to apply for memberships to us.
-
PS; I don't want to mislead so you get 6 postal code areas for your £55 additional ones are 0.90p each, we will show the hot spots, ( marketing done for you ) so you may just be on the border of one postal code, but they may be 20 enquires from there so you know customers are waiting for 0.90p You can also use your mini website page for local business advertising, garden centres, vets etc. You charge 5 business £10 each thats your membership paid for, the money is yours. If your on holiday we will pick up your email enquires if you buy a anyname@molesuk.co.uk email address, (POA) and

Hi Guys Thanks for the interest. £55 is a one of payment and take a look what you get. They is also a members forum protected and a members password protected page opening shortly, offering discounts etc. Talking to insurance company about any member joining automatically gets public liabilty, this is taking some working out. They is lots of things going on and we are just starting out but we know business and marketing, all this advice will be for free, how to do Contracts, pricing etc etc. We have had 17 definites since I first posted and I expect more as time goes on, we what a pro

Hi Guys I understand if this post is removed, I hope not as I will be willing to promote The Hunting Life on the Moles UK website. If you control moles by legal methods are professional and are doing it full time or part time then i hope you will join. Here we go, one off payment of £55 then membership renewal of £10 per year, your membership year runs from the date you sign up. We decided that once the site templates were set up why charge members for it again. The £10 a year will pay for advertising. Moles UK type YO18 7AJ into the postal search box, then try your own.
