I remember well the same thing happening to a Charolais Ram of mine, that came off worse from rutting with a big old Suffolk... He had a wound, that we cleaned up as best we could but the flies got in there and within days he was a mess. He never recoverd either.

I watched it... what really p*sses me off is that they dont put such amazing programmes like that on for the kids at a decent hour! The oldest two are 8 and 9 and they'd have loved to see that. That giant wooly rat was incredible wasn't he, and so tame too
