im not an expert kay but run my findings on running a rescue and not just having to look after the same couple of ferrets for years, but you are right in what you say if his jill is entire and i must have missed this part then there is less chance of being adrenal as it tends to effect spayed jills more but has been known in entire jills, so i put my hands up if i made an error but come on with the symtoms given and the hair loss from the flank you have to agree this is classic signs of adrenal. So that's, er ,48 days . They do go a day or three over at times but assuming there was no error in calculating the moment of supposed fertilization shed've normally had them by now . But . Did the jill stay with the hob for several days or did you whip her out as soon as you thought she'd mated ? Maybe they did'nt mate successfully straight away and your calculations are out because of that . Maybe the hob is a Jaffa . Sometimes early in the year hobs are a bit short of viable sperm and though they mate cheerfully enough they are shooting blanks and just stimulate a false p

Don't want to upset anyone but Oliver Is a black eyed white with a summer coat. He is one big ferret( or a very narrow stairway). Harley is of smeller breeding without the dark eyes with a winter coat. They are both to short in the leg and have the wrong shaped head to be g/hounds, but very nice ferrets all the same.P1 it was a narrow stair case, People said Oliver was a Copper to be honest I don't care he was a lovely ferret. Sometimes when a young jill is giving birth cleaning up afterbirth chewing threw umbilical cords the odd foot or tail will be mistakenly chewed off. P1

if its a drinking bottle check the waters coming out of the drinker bit properly.. i would put a dish in anyway with some water in it.. if you want her to have milk get the lactose free stuff they make for cats whiskers or felix something like that the drinker is ok iv checked that. what would be reckomended for her water or would the milk do her better? well as kay says lactose milk or soya milk mate,better etting somr fluid in her as none at all.you checked her mouth is she still eating ok If your ferret wasn't drinking it would probably be dead mate.Leave her alone with he

i might run a rescue and have never once claimed to be an expert let alone a resident expert, there are some folk on this forum who do give good sound advice and i have no doubt they know as much as me about ferrets if not more, but then we have the folk like yourself that keep coming on giving people some dumb ass advice. mate stick to a gold fish and even then i doubt it last a week in your care.
