  1. Most of the places I do mate there are 100/200 holes.A very good idea for up to 10 if you want to play with a spade.P1
  2. Me too, I clear holes, partner follows laying purse nets down full hedge. Go for a drink a fag and a chat back at vehicle. Go back to first warren done with ferrets quietly. This way this gives chance for bunnies to calm down. Beauty about this is if any slip the nets then theres a good chance of backnetting. I have seen us take a full morning to prepare setting 100+ nets before getting out the ferrets. Cant chance putting in all the effort a week before for poachers to do it after all the hard work done clearing out. Dillan Thats what I do mate. Some say you shouldn't put a ferret in aft
  3. Fraggle in this pic is standing upright he is 6'3" we got the dog, ferret and rabbit out but unfortunately Fraggles eyes haven't been the same since.
  4. I'd say it's an "ugly f**ker".

  6. If they can they will leave the nest before their eyes are open but mum will drag them back in.Some will take them back in when full grown.P1
  7. But, the 'intact one' is too young isn't he? and his nicknacks haven't dropped yet so he wouldn't have the urge? Im just asking, im not sure myself. Also, just want to throw in there that the 'intact one' also has scabs on his back. sounds like your ferrets are scratching there way past the ferret in front as if in a tunnel,do you have tunnels that one ferret is taking food into and the one behind is trying to get it. p1

  16. Now that really put a smile to my face! A very moving video. cheers Callum That was my first reaction!! Tom Mine too, who ever that little lads parents are should be very proud to be raising a kid with such a good attitude. Nice one mate.
  17. Yep looks a bit tight otherwise good cage. Wulliegh why would anyone want to clip a working ferrets nails?.P1 are you serious? nails can and will become long during the summer months if not working and i know the back nails need less of a trim but iy you leave them they tend to grow thick and tart to curl also if they are too lond then the ferret cant put its foot out properly and must cause some discomfort to the ferrets having to walk like that. Well all I can say is I have never had to clip a ferrets nails in all the years I have kept them, some have lived into their teens.P1
  18. correction he used to have a good set of nuts.P1

  21. make sure there totally independent of there mother .. feeding & not just huddled together .. they should ideally be tazzing about all over the place playing & climbing.. imo 6 weeks is to young if you take the jill out of the cage how do the kits react .. are they not bothered or do they start whinging The jill does far more than just feed them & clean them she disciplines them as well & i think kits removed to soon simply seek comfort of there siblings which can be ear sucking I think there to young to be homed at the moment if there eyes have only been open 2
  22. NO I'm sure you won't breed it until someone has the right money.P1
  23. yep...a couple...100% with ferrets and quite patient...if you ignore the shaking... what kind of terrier is that mate, looks bit like a sporting lucas but hard to tell from picture. we take a sporting lucas with us everytime and is great for flushing the bunnies back down the holes before you net up. You must enjoy digging? P1
