Don't use ferrets on rats mate.1 rat now and then by accident would be fine but they do gang up when in numbers. Your big hob would be no match for a rat in confined spaces small jills are better. Better than that is a smoker and min 2 terriers.Real good fun.

Tell the truth you show em I have what I call my "PR Lads" (20 in total) they do everything work for the Ferret Tamer, they are my pets, racing, go into schools to do talks and yes alright a bit of showing, only made it to 2 shows last year, that is the ones I wasnt running, 10 oldtimers living out the rest of their time in luxury, 13 youngster from last year coming along nicely, 8 jills, 2 stud hobs, 2 vasectomied hobs and 8 re-homers. I think. Changing all the time. Tiggypud. Good luck mate,all the best,keep spreading the good word

I like to spread mine out mate.The theory being that a rabbit will push past 1 ferret but not past 2 or 3.I would not think it would make all that much difference as the ferrets will soon spread out under ground.Had good results both ways, so as you see it at the time is best.P1

Been trying to get a cheep leaf blower, lucky sod.The petrol cap needs to be able to breath or it will cut out.Take some of the fins off the blower side direct the exhaust to the blower hey presto, gets them rats moving real quick.Good luck with it.P1

:clapper: couldn't agree more. The collars are such a reassurance when you grab them before the inevitable happens, nowt is gonna "give" or snap. Seems like some folk never get into that situation with dogs and quarry Did not knock the quality of the collars in any way they are the best as anyone can see.Just a personal thing where i like to see the dog not be drawn to the thing around its neck.Around home I don't have collars on.A personal thing no offense.P1
