You set the nets correctly mate.You just need to clear the crap away first.By the time the rabbit gets that far out the hole It is unlikely to smell where your hands where .Good luck in the future P1.

Drove bloody miles to get a patterdale pup as soon as it got in the car it was sick every where,so had to call it puke.When she was working later in life and came out the hole we would say without thinking "Puke's up"for 11 years it reminded me of that journey.P1

I like to think that i am a bit of traditionalist mate but if you read properly he said wild bred ferrets. By the way this traditionalist hasn't lost a ferret in over 50 years I hope that you will be able to look back and say the same,Just a taught,one day your collar isn't going to work then what.P1

Well done again mate,127 rabbits in 2 days some going and not a net in sight,got to be some sort of record. Who's job is it to gut and skin that lot and what do you do with them. That thumb looks sore P1

Had a few whippet/greyhounds over the years mate very keen to know the hight and I found that they stoped growing upwards at 10 months.P1

Just dig the hole out and put the cage inside not exposed put grass or bracken around it.Go back at first light always worked for me.P1

Go for it mate (2 traps beter than one)with a bit of common sence there is no resaon why they won't work. Lift your ferrets well before dark happy hunting.P1

In my opinion all you have said is correct But the question was do i need a locater and the answer is no you don't.Had the question been will I lose my ferret the answer is quite likely.Will I have to wait for my ferret to reappear the answer yes sometimes for hours. To some this is the enjoyment of ferreting and I know that in a few hours time I find that my locater isn't working it will not stop me from going ferreting.P1

Greyhound ferrets were not small.Magwitch has at least one that I have seen on his posts that is very greyhound type but much too small or it may be that he has a very long collar strap. johnmac666 you have very nice white ferrets which I'm sure are good workers but in my opinion are not Greyhound types. P1

The only anti I've come across on this site is a little tw*t thinks its ok to bait rats in a live cage trap. Terrier something or other,trying to get us all hung.P1
