A stop net is a long net usual placed threw a hedge from one long net on one side of the hedge to the long net on the other side of the hedge.Or across a bury that has been surrounded by long nets. It is called a stop net because it STOPS the rabbits running along the hedge or across the bury from hole to hole. A gate net is set along the bottom of a gate (hence the name) to catch hairs leaving the field under the gate. Hope this helps P1

Now they are birds worth keeping .I used to breed and show British.Good luck with them mate P1 cheers p1,some people dont understand it,but the pleasure i get from my birds far outweigh the heartache and theres plenty of that wi british birds No what you mean mate my biggest heartache was trying to get them bloody rings on, hens throwing them and young out the nest. All birds are nice but British are just a bit special.My other passion was lizard canaries.As I said mate good luck you will need lots of it.P1

Whin on some folk your wasting your breath.Some folk have never owned a real working ferret,they can't have because they think that if a rabbit bolts from the smell of their pet ferret they have a worker. They don't know any different and never will.If they can't see what is wrong with breeding for color or hair length and is damaging the ferret you will never change their minds.You and I know that a few years ago before they were in the pet fashion no mater where you got a ferret it was a worker but not now.I'm to old in the tooth now to worry about people destroying my workers it wont happe

My mate wants to breed from his lurcher before she gets to old she is now 6. What he is looking for is a Collie/greyhound about 25tts and good at what he does.His bitch is 21 and relay good at what she does.The dog would be as close to Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey, as pos. He would need to see the sire run.His bitch will be due in the next couple of months. SO if you got a good one please let us know.P1 (Will travel for right dog.)
