  8. mates it a doulbe edged sword good big dogs that squeeze there the ones i have seen scoffacted trying to get to the quarry theres a mate of mine that lost a good dog recently to a pair of foxes he was well tight when they got to him scoffcated the 2 foxes when still there alive he was a young dog to be fair i also seen i mate loose a dog in a handy enough earth half hour job broke thro to a soffocated dog now i dug i nice dog fox out of the same earth last week but the dog that wouldnt be a overly big dog but we got the fox and he was fine right enough he was on his side it was tight but he wa
  9. some of the 10 min dogs i have found stay a fair bir from there quarry and move with the quarry aslo keeping a distance putting on no presure having the quarry faceing them in tubes so you get a reading thinking its handy enough only for you to enter a decent that goes in does the job right and pushs the quarry to the right place only for you to find its a lot deeper than you thought seen it hapen

  12. its all over the n.i news they seized dogs and had a black dog that they got out of the van when they stoped them thats all we need i think my season will end for this year as they will be checkpoints every were they also said that there is a major operation into badger digging going on in n.i. i always thought badger digging was illegal

  14. Great answer. The hardest thing to learn is reading the dog in front of you, is it ready or not. Some people never learn this. They get lucky and get a dog that is strong enough mentally to overcome an early bad experience. In time with enough dogs like this they form the opinion that the dog will just GO if it is Good enough. They even get lazy and don't start the pup through the stages of bushing, ratting, tied out at digs. etc.. All dogs that start badly they put down to the dog been from a rubbish line.   16. fair enough but i still cant see why he needs to put a two year old dog over the bitch surely there are dogs off that line with a lot more expericne that could have been used for the mating as said before all the best with the pup great grandad is dead, grandad died too groung, not many more people have these exact lines and the few that do have bitches so the dog he has used is really the only option, yes he could have waited but the sire has done enough too produce good stuff, yes the sire could be a f**k up after a few more but fat chances of it thanks lol

  18. some of the dog foxes u get this time of year fatmaan as u know take a bit of killing i know some dogs have the knack but some of them dog foxes can do a fair bit of damage to ur terrier
