    Mine were good all round. Bit slow but bull crosses can be clever if you hold them back and work on obedience. Only one trick is when their put on to early and turn into crocodiles. Not the best on day time hares but good working edges with terrier's ect during the day. The 3/8 was my favourite cross to have though.

    long nets get there best bags using the lamp. but its not as exiting as a lurcher imoa. ho and there's always the od rabbit out in the rain and they tend to sit nice and tight.

    Ermmm, to be honest I don't judge on age, more on how they act, and on a personal note, if I have worked hard to get permission i'm not going to turn up at the farm with a teenager in a hoodie and talking "street", they need to dress, talk and act appropriately............. And I don't judge someone on how much game they take.....some tools may have good dogs but it doesn't make them good dog men......... to true i dont know how anyone can say they judge on how much people get lol. i can go one place get big bags of rabbits and see more. go on another and get none with the same dog. bi

    i would have drive all day over brains u can teach most dogs tricks like cutting game off on the lamp even dogs with a high pray drive but u cant make a dog whant to catch that dosent wont to.

    it would depend how the bullx was breed for me pure bullx grayhound then i would say a bitch would be lighted built for allround work were a dog might be a bit to heavy imoa. but bullxgrayhound to bullxgrayhound halfx then some dogs can be realy racey so a dog might have the advantage as they useualy have a bit more hight and more determand to catch than the bitchs in my opinion. but as already sead 3/8bull 5/8grayhound would be a safe bet as a allround bullx in my apinion.

    had bullxs now for 10 year not long compeared to some people they suit me but not everyone. only advice i can give is be pationt with them but dont let them rule the roast. people will tell u there only good for big game and just a c**k extension bring them on right mate and they do what u wont of them they not the best day time hare dogs. but i have had them bring fur and fether back that i have put in the pot without being mince meat. so dont listen to people that say they only good for ripping big game to bits thats just what they best at. just like sulkis best at day hares wippets best at

    have you seen a 1/2 run mate there far from not nimble mate they are good at turning & the bull about bullxs being not to brainy is bull aswell they can be head strong if you bring them on to fast though from my experiance with them. but they can work during the day but not as you whould like to see a dog work if you just like courseing hares. day time but as a old school mooching lurcher there as good as any breed mooching the fields (not walking on a lead waiting to get a slip so to speak) but useing its nose & ears to find. i was going to use my bitch for ferreting till my nethue go

    they where meant to be good guns mate bet you didnt miss much taffy bull done a thread last week rough dogs he's on there mate have a look seen him wasnt he in a old post about a year ago aswell mate about heartbreak dogs ? like the look of him. like the sound of them firstx beddyxgrays thought of getting one a few times but never have the space when a good one pops up. had a beddyxwhippet it had the heart but not the size & power to be a allrounder some do but mine never but he got 10/10 for trying though.

    got a few things from there in the past even got a lamp a few year ago havent made a order laterly but they have done me proud in the past so i think youll get your new lamp soon mate never riped me off.

    The real bitsas: those from long lines of bitsas can throw very similar in type, make and shape and above all talent in the field. For example, the line mine come from I can tell before they are born that they will have good strikes, hunt well, retrieve naturally and be generally decent all rounders: not saying that they are any better than anything else, but I know what I'm getting when I breed a litter and as far as height etc is concerned I know that the bitches will be between 23 and 25 inches, and the dogs a bit bigger.     I have nothing against bitzas but the reason i dont use them is becouse there like lukey dips you dont know wether your pup will be 20inch or 28 fat or thin. i agree if you get the right one you have a f**king goodun bit i wouldnt go pay good money for a pup that i dont have a idea what it will end up like & i dont buy old dogs in so dont plan on getting a bitza any time soon. if you have one & its a good one show it & be proud you toke your chance & its payed of. most people that have worked dogs will have seen a good bitza some time i have seen a few good & bad bitza but

    I have used night vishion to spot lamp shy animals in the past but whouldnt dream of sticking that monster on my head. Scent you should get one it will go with the balaclava mate . There only good for seeing things pritty close though so if you whant big game start calling youll see then just before they run in to you with one of them & just as it runs away out of sight. Good for shooting though if your walking about looking for rabbits ect with one on a gun on lamp shy ground. Not that one though :crazy:

    Give it lots of walks to get it used to the lead. If its stuben in the field & dosent respond to what you tell it be patiant & alway reward it for doing what you whant even if it takes ages becouse it will get faster at it pritty some. 1 runs better then 10 kill when your bringing a head strong pup on it has years of big bags ahead of it If you give it to much to soon it will try catching everything before it comes back wich is why lots of people think bullxs are head strong. Show it lots of live stock before you let it of the lead in a field full of live stock bullxs cant kill live st
