A saying I keep in mind is "If the winds too high, do not fly", the weather has been crap, and stoped play for a good few days for us!!! Wind and rain in my book make for a dull day indoors Such is life. I will fly my FHH in the wind but not if its too blustery, what seems calm at home can turn out to be bad news on my ground as most of its high up.....such is life

I use a shephards whistle, fun to learn how to use it to!!!!

I am not thinking of putting down for awhile yet. Was just interested in what other people do, and how they put there birds through the moult. Lun

Wont be long now before we will be putting the birds down to moult. Just interested on what people do. Do you put down early, keep some form of contact going, use artificial light, all that sort of thing? Also how do you while away those long summer months

Vest for me got it of good old Ebay!! Also have a couple of fishing type vests that I use for when we are just going for a quick fly round, got them for £5 at a fair.

I have up to this year always put bells on the legs, but this year have changed tact and am trying a plectum on the tail, and am finding it works well, as said when your harris wags its tail you hear it, I have also found with the plectum fitting the telem alot easier, everyone will have different views on this one, you just have to try things out and see what works for you.
