  5. I had a Whip/grey out of his stuff years back. One of the best dogs iv had, very well built with a heavier bone structure than alot of whip/greys you see. The fawn dog.

  8. Everytime this thread is brought up it makes me laugh! At the end of the day you either love the bullx, hate them or no f..k all about them and think you hate them! To many people throwing wild statements on what they can or cant do who know f..k all about them! They are a popular breed of lurcher and getting more popular for only one reason! There good...

  14. Cracking reply ive ran dogs 20 years now and had plenty and still have single handed dogs' but if im on a good night out id double up firstly both dogs keeping fit getting a run secondly greater chance of a catch and thirdly my single handed dogs dont have to prove nothing i know they do the job themselves Think some of you are confused with running doubled up, their are two (or more) ways of doubling up - Option 1. Run 2 single handed dogs together, both dogs are trying their best to catch that fox. Therefore catch rate increases. Option 2. Run a single handed dog with a doubled up dog
  15. I have a bull terrier, She has a wicked nose on her and when she marks shes never wrong!! She will crash the heaviest bushes to dispatch anything and just loves working.. They can be very head strong stubborn and can take alot of patience when out in the field.
  16. Just encourage the dog in mate, Praise him loads when he starts to find. Maybe try and get a skin and fire him up on it.. The rest he will do himself..
  17. You cant beet the singlehanded dogs in my opinion but you will catch alot more doubled up!! This one ones a true solo bitch 8 years old and never jibbed once!!
  18. I agree with Bird, just take your time with her but when she does give the rabbit up, praise her loads and shell soon get there. I always bring my pups up retreiving a rabbit skin which helps alot when there in the field but they can still be reluctant to give it up!!
  19. It is a lot !! Maybe that russel and your beddi are made from different thing"s mate!! I doubt it . But the difference is ... the two that he has caught, were single handed jobs. No team behind him. Makes a bit of a difference. But hey, good on the pack of wee Russells anyway. Good on ya mate! very nice dog..
