Got a few pics of her today hope ya like, Chris.

feeding rabbit's to your dogs
stormrider8 replied to FAT CITY's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
must say that I never used to freeze all of the rabbits I fed to the dogs, and they did get wormy quite regular, and I was worming every month or two. But now I always freeze all of my catch, and it has deffinately made a big difference with the worms So whats better, to feed raw and worm every month or so. Or just simply boil it, boiling works for me! I cant see how a dog riddled with worms or one thats havin drontal or ivomec every month is in better shape. Yeah if they can be frozen for long enough to kill it all then fare one, but fresh and raw a no no for me. -
feeding rabbit's to your dogs
stormrider8 replied to FAT CITY's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
I find, if i worm every 3 months with Dorantal +, they seem fine, the freezing usually kills the worms off, but sometimes if i get in with my lurcher with a warm bunny or 2, i give her it, skined, its gone quicker then a derosted one, so she will get worms from this. I know what your saying mate, i feed most other things raw. The rabbits are never in the freezer long enough in my house to kill the worms. Just have to try catch more i suppose . Used to feed them raw but even worming every 3 months my dogs looked wormy "can't stand it". All the best chris -

No video footage mate, i doubt very much you would have been able to see mUch anyway, i'm no expert with a camera. Besides the runs were at some distance and would have been a waste of time anyway. Well Mark, what a cracking night out and what a top host. It was a very tight match with both dogs taking the lead on different occasions. Hats off to both dogs as they were both put through there paces last night with long slips right to the end! And Tillys half time entertainment was first class too! Loved the sport afterwards with cat working out the landrover, Dogs a machine! No knockin that bitch. Good luck with the rest of the comp, and well done to S pep for a really tight match. I,m sure we'll be back down for another night, how could i resist carrying all them feckin rabbits and si

Good question, also wondered that myself. I have one that seems to be takin an age to mature in certain ways. But have seen others work younger and doin stuff that alot of dogs wont do in a life time.

i like the look of him hows he bred Hi Steve, he's a bitza. Sire was 3/4 grey and 1/4 whippet. Dam was 1/2 grey,1/4 collie,1/8 whippet and 1/8 deerhound. So predominantly grey with just about everything else that you could stuff in with the exception of saluki and bull. Didn't want any bull in him as I used to own an English bull and now have young kids and since he lives indoors didn't want to take any risks. How do you know your not taking a risc with the bitsa? What a thing to say!! Well Having seen first hand what a fully grown adult male English bull is capable of wh

Substitute or the real deal? I think not.. So who cares! i know exactley what i got in my kennels ........how about you ????? Of course i do! And also the generation of dogs and breeders. Would have it no other way. No CMW dogs at this address!!

How do you feed mate. Normaly if you feed the same time every night or morning, what ever you prefer. Give them 15 minutes to clear there food, if they dont just pick it up. Same thing the next day. I find most dogs get an appetite this way. one meal time same time every day. Good luck

Whats the most hares you done in one night
stormrider8 replied to a topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
There are places where i live that 17 could be taken every month and you still wouldn't damage stocks. I would love to see a dog take that amount here ,even on the lamp! I dont think all the people who disbelieve are conservationist's either!
