i had a saluki grey bicth for 3 years broke 2 stock never done nothing 1 day i took her in the goat field and she just went mad on my pigmiz never done it before dont no y .she all ways give rabbit 2 hand live and done charlies clever dog and quiet but on that day she just become a hunting dog instinct over took i think .not her fault but a problem for me .i told her off but not hit her she now she done wrong but i could not work out what went wrong ??but then i thought she had not been out for 1 week i was busy maybe she needed 2 kill somtimes if she never whent out she would be a dirrent do

you need i fast dog in small feilds but you need and fast and stamina dog for our big feilds so maybe your irish hares are not all there made out 2 be hiding in small feilds where they no they can run and hide in the forest our hares dont have 2 hide they wait for dogs 2 come and see if they can get them they no ther safe in a 100 acre feild .they think nothing will get them but our salkui greyhounds prove them wrong .i would not go out and run my dog in a 2 acre feild unless i was hunting rats or worms any way good luck with your small hares in ireland

my saluki greyhounds can jump 5 foot with easy but my amercian bull dog jump out of a 6 foot run i could not belive it so i think my lurchers could jump 7 easy if the rabbits jumped them

i have had my dog skid from 6 weeks old she is nearlly 3 now .i have two let here go she has had a fight with my amercian bull dog .and now they hate each other but she still lives with my 3 other dogs saluki and bull greyhound she is fine with them .she thinks she is pack leader and i dont think it will ever stop now it has started .she will bring rabbits back live and take hares and foxes but she needs help on them .she will hold them no probs till you get there or wait for other dog .she jumps aswell and comes back after every chase she is no prob at tall .the perfect home for her would be
