hw100 for me too i have had a rapid and it was great not needing to fill up so often, but the mags are not as good The cocking and mag system on the hw100 are 2nd to none i think

Hi Well one of my jills had her litter on the 14th, i bred her because she is my favourite jill a great worker the lot, along with a good working hob of mine. I handle my ferrets everyday all are tame however she is showing no signs of protecting her young from me no hissing, nipping, nothing she is acting like there are no young ones in there, she is feeding them I think as they are now 3 days old and are still with us. Do i need to be bothered she trusts me so much.I don't want to disturb her to much.She is eating well i am feeding her rabbit and pigeon mostly with a bowl of dry in there a

That's why I went on to bottles. They never got the connection between tipping bowls over and getting thirsty.... mine drink from either too but one of my hobs sticks his head in the bowl blows out his nose then gose mad for five minutes

my net making board is 2 1/4" is this two big? what sizes do you lads and lasses use? and what are the made of? you help would be great thanks fergie

Hi guys I have just bought a cheap single barrel 12g it has the argyle written in the side, it has an ejector takes 2 3/4" carts the action is tight. Can any one give me some info on them I have done a search but I can't find anything what do you think is worth? I only bought it to take with the ferrets or sling round the shoot out of game season for rabbits with the air rifle I paid £5 from my game shooting club it was that or it got handed in to the police i a'm going to sand all the wood down and oil it

One of my polecats has gone realy dark, in the last few weeks she is eating well but she is also looking thin?? any ideas

Hope I don't come across as having a go Sue. It's just that the original post (above) asked if he could feed myxy rabbits to his kits. Followed by several answers to 'bin' the rabbits. The answer to his question is that it is ok to feed them to his kits they will not be harmed. If he or you don't like the idea then that as you say is up to you. All the best no not at all its just different of opinions happy ferreting i don't realy have this problem but i do feed my ferrets the odd mixy rabbit if i get them as long as its not too bad BUT the reply a wild animal wo

i guessed before i shot then i musered them after to see how close i was i don't do this every time but i did this time as i haven't been out for 6-8 months and i was n't staying long

had to go in to work today so i thought i would take the air rifle to zero well i finished early so zeroed my hw100k at 13yrds the cheked points of aim at 20-35yrds i was sorted off i went and found some rabbits first was a BIG buck 1 shot one kill at 30yrds standing, i thought i would take my shooting position up here i waited about 5 minutes and out comes number two to the right i can only see its head up the top of the hill 4 mill dots down on my scope a pop number two in the bag at 52 yrds i waited a bit longer but nothing came out so i tought i would drive the long way round camp home jus

i thought it was a guard dog thing so they was constantly elert ears up listening the germans used to do it to boxer dogs i don't know if they still do but its not for me or my dogs

??????? I use to breed mice for my snakes As for working them yes I do, Ii also shoot enough to keep my ferrets in food it was out of curiosity as i was reading about members feeding day old chicks

to be honest i don't know i use to breed my own but no longer. i was thinking more on the nutrition side also would they eat them?? as i know a lot don't eat crows ect to be honest i usualy have enough pigeon,rabbit or phesant i mainly feed dry food in the summer months though although i do buy chicken wings in bulk very cheap
