  1. You need a bullet comparator that screws onto the end of your calipers. It measures the bullet at the ogive or curve on the head which contacts the rifleing. You may get a difference of 1 to 2 thou over a hundred bullets measuring this way. So using this tool you can then seat you bullet to an consistent distance. I bought mine from Tim Hannam and reloading solutions are good as well. This is the one I use together with the insert for .222: http://www.sinclairintl.com/product/10476/Bullet-Comparators I use 21.2 gr of Vit 130 for a 50gr Sierra SP varminter. Yields 3100 FPS.
  2. Ive heard some crap but that just about tops it the crap is most of the people here haven't a clue what their guns are capable of, if you new anything about your guns and how they are made they you wouldn't be making silly comments, but if you want to waste your money on blueprinting that's up to you, as it is any gun will shoot better than you can, you look at this or that on a rifle, the bedding, the crown, trigger, bolt lock up surfaces, and the list goes on, you bolt any gun down to immovable object and fire it, then see how it performs, think you would be surprised at the accurac

  6. However on something with a light weight barrel, Tikka T3 etc, the ASE Utra actually helps balance the rifle better and allows for a steadier shot. I do not understand this comment. The opposite is true, I would not like to shoot a rifle with a mod on it from a standing position. It makes the gun front heavy and difficult to balance, particularly with a hunter barrel. As you are a dealer I would welcome your viewpoint as to why some welded steel or aluminium and baffles costs over £200? They are rather expensive. I appreciate that you may not know the full answer to this from a des
  7. As Jamie said, Dasherman does a very good job. He charged me £ for a screwcut including reproof and £20 for a thread protector, he later also made me a muzzle brake for £70. He is on the outskirts of Reading, Bramley, Mortimer way.

  9. I copied a design from a fellow stalker. Buy a 34mm hard wood dowel 2.4m long. Cut it to your height, shape a hemisphere on one end and a blunt point on the other. Then find a friendly wood worker with a circular saw and cut it down its length in half, so you end up with two lengths of dowel of your height by 34mm semi circle less the saw cut. Approximately each one is 16mm thick. Then clamp the two pieces up and drill a 6mm hole 9 inches from the hemispherical end and use a 6mm nut and bolt to clamp them together. And then Sadolin them. A pair of sticks that look l
