Yesterday i went for a walk near my cottage and saw several hares,all with one thing on their mind! here a few pics and a short bit about this wonderfull quarry! ive heard that in days of yore that they were believed to be witches familiars hence some of their nick names , puss,mawkin, sally all common names for cats in days gone, in wales they are called cath , apparently welsh for cat! in times past it was believed that only a silver bullet couldkill a hare, some times silver sixpences were used as shot stacked in the barel , where they ar popular metal detecto

saw this in the indipendant newspaper on sunday,its an outrage,ime going to write to my MP!!! According to a DEFRA spokesperson today,it was anounced that the cost of the forth comming cull of badgers would would not be met by the tax payer but uniqely funded in partnership with the british meat baord. Farmers will be paid an undisclosed sum to keep badger carcases in refridgeration until pick-ups can be made, the badgers will then be sent to processing plants where the meat will be striped ,and the offal taken .According to the spokesperson the offal will be sold for animal feeds to be sol

i guess anything would be apreciated! the kids could grow them to sell for funding their ferret project! apparently they want a couple , but ian wasnt sure about the health and safety aspect of nipping ferrets!
