  15. i have in the past used gold fish, there is a chance of disease though,so what i did was put them in a container with some metheline blue ,this kills all disease in 24 hours then they are fine to use for bait . however as stated it is illegal and it would be very naughty to do it!
  16. Photos look better holding the fish they look poor in the net or unhooking mat £20 gets you a air line which you kneel on to take your own pics mate ooo! tell me more!
  17. the handle was treated with danish oil, left in it for 24 hours to soak in ,the blade was a stainles steel .now ive worked in the butchery business for years and i can tell all that stainless does rust unless its a marine grade steel, its a trade off realy stainless doesnt make for a good blade, difficult to sharpen properly ,carbon steel rusts so theres just enough carbon steel in the blade to make it a good blade.as ive allready said this knife wasnt looked after,it was a £60 custon knife and a bargain for that price. personally i dont care if i ever make a knife for sale again, that knife too
  18. A number of months ago i made a custom nessmuk hunting knife for a forum member,it was top quality workmanship. now as every knife owner that i know knows,a blade needs looking after whether carbon steel or stainless, ofter using and before putting away its common sense to dry the blade and wipe over with a touch dry oiled rag. his chap obviously hasnt and now wants a refund! now every knife maker i know would suggest that the customer bugger off ,what do you think? knife when made: and after the abuse!:
  19. well today we had a trip to the hospital for my nipper for a pre tonsil op check up,luckily it was all done and over by 10 am so i decided to do a spot of guesting on the local tributary of the Hampshire Avon ,the Nadder. my favorite part of the river is at Harnham just 10 minutes walk from the city center,at the old mill. it was a scorching hot day and so we found a nice shady spot under an old willow. and the swim was a good one shallow nearest me gradually shelving off to 4 foot on the far bank,i baited the swim and straight away i saw 3 big chub,i knew from past experie

  21. Think of a famed river and a come to mind , amongst them the Dorset stour. The River Stour is a 60.5 mile long river which flows through Wiltshire and Dorset in southern England, and drains into the English Channel. It is sometimes called the Dorset Stour to distinguish it from rivers of the same name. The source of the river is at Stourhead, in Wiltshire, where it forms a series of artificial lakes which are part of the Stourhead estate owned by the National Trust. It flows south into Dorset through the Blackmore Vale and the towns of Gillingham and Sturminster Newton, where it is joined
