Personally I don't rate them. We used to stock them in the shop, but never sold that many of them. As with all the accessories sold by Nickerson's they tend to fall in the lower end of the price and qualitt bracket, not knocking the stock, its all does what it should but there are better out there for similar money (and obviously more money!) My recomendation would be to get over to a good retailer like Glasgow Angling (Shooting) Centre, where they will have a choise for you to get your hands on. As with all things shooting related, but especially so with optics, buy the very best you

"White" New BBC2 season of programes
The Sporting Agent replied to The Sporting Agent's topic in General Talk
I'm looking forward to catching it, I think, as has been said it will probably spark a real debate on both sides. There is no doubt that the British working classes are those that are suffering most financially with the current situation; but will the series give an impartial review of the situation, alowing the real problems, issues and worries of people accross the board (not just working classes, we are all sufering), or will it give the view that working class Brits are all racist BNP supporters? I concerns me somewhat that in todays world of Political Correctness the BBC are specifica -
Are they not pretty much the same blo##y thing??!

Was wondering what people made of the new "season" soon to be on BBC2 called "White" about the apparent opression of white working class Brittons? Are the BBC going to be showing a true and frank account of the situation? Will it prove to actually be anti-white, by showing white Brittons in a bad/negative light? Are they naybe concentrating on "working class" because that might prove to be more negative, or purely because its the working classes that maybe are suffering more? Not sure when it starts but it might make interesting viewing, regardless of racial feelings.

Westonbirt Doggy day
The Sporting Agent replied to Missie's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Damn, I'm two min down the road and had no idea it was on. We'd have popped down with the hooligans....!! Do you walk the dogs there often? Use the "free" side enterance.........saves paying!! -
Does anyone know a half decent not too expensive spray shop either in the Cotswolds or west Mids/Shrops area? For a Defender. Don't want to pay big bucks to have a real smart job done, as long as its half decent and tidy.

Terrorists = is about right. What else can you call someone who goes around hiding their face, causing criminal damage, harrasment, violence, and even taunting others with "weapons"; aiming their hatred at a specific section of law abiding society? Sounds like "terrorists" to me.........

Like I said before............. ................As for you ratman2.....get a life! All you do is pop up in threads, critisize what people say, make sarcastic comments, the type that have started this whole argument about moderating, slag people off and cause arguments; I suspect you quite enjoy it, the sort of person who loves to start a scrap but couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. I'm deeply sorry if my challenge/expedition in some way offends you, as you seem to not be able to refrain from critisizing it or slagging me off because of it, but get over it. So I'm doing something f

I'm not here to "kiss ass" and I don't particularly want to become a Donator either, IMO you get more grief from Donators thinking they are holier than thaugh because they donate (not aimed at you Outshooting) than the Mods on a supposed power trip as suggested by some. But, I do have a bunch of bits from a gun shop that closed down, cleaning kits, oils, pellets and a few books etc; I'm willing to donate some of this to the auction for the proceeds to go towards the administration of the site......? (Mods, IanB, get in touch it might be easier if I send the stuff to you to list and do directly

Where are you based? I have a contact in Llangollen, near Wrexham always on the look out; a commercial shoot. -

Hi mate, if its mainly for rough and game shooting my pref would be for a quality SS from a Spanish manufacturer given your price range. Look out for AYA's the Yeoman or No4 models; basic but decent well built very good quality guns. Been made for years to the same pattern and new today, the Yoman which is the basic model retails at give or take £1,000.00. A ten to 20 year old one in good nick with plenty of life let will set you back about 1/3 of that and will be worth as much once you have finished with it providing you look after it. Take a look at guntrader.co.uk to get an idea of spe

In this case, as Chris J has said prevention is better than cure given your circumstances. These are two "old farmer" techneques; some say they don't work, others swear they do. From my own experiance they certanly helped...... Use tights to make a hanging ball using human hair and hang one on each corner of your avery; the other, piss on the floor outside the avery....or do these things on the perimiter of your fence. Pee in a bottle then pour it outside if you want to be more discreat! Foxes are none too keen on human smells. Might be less efective on urban reds I don't know, and

ok we all know that topgear took a hilux to the north pole but what most dont realise is that the same team of icelanders took landcruisers to the south pole, dont get me wrong subarus are fantastic CARS, they may indeed be 4wd but theres no way you can compair them to a landcruiser its a totally differant animal and each marque is designed for a differant application, i mean you wouldnt go street racing in a land cruiser or go offroading (rallying is not offroading in this case lets call rally gravel road racing) in a scoobie would you. my belief is that the hilux and landcruisers are the bes

......long shot but someone might know the answer. When one company takes over a contract bellonging to another company, or buys the business; there is a legal term and process for transfering employees personal details (and gaining their permission to do to) to the new company. Does anyone here know what its called???

Thought I’d better tell you this as my wife has told me we have done four Munro’s, we climbed A' Ghlas-bheinn to reach The Falls of Glomach. Only another 280 to go..........good luck!! One a week for the next five years..........beats going to work for a living!!
