    Spot on with Jeffers also another shop. Cert or Permit, call it what you will i could not purchase a moderator locally without one.

    I get a separate cert every September from my local Superintendent which states that i am allowed to have a Moderator on my rifle.I could not purchase a moderator from 2 local gunshops until i had applied separately for a moderator and received cert for same.I then produced cert to shop no problem.

    Had the s%&t ripped out of mine when i sited it 2 fields from the house last year.I found the best place just next to where the dogs are fed and i simply scatter a little Lidl Dog Nuts around the trap and into it .(I am not joking).Foxes and badgers are hungry this weather and have all night to do their worst if its sited too far away.Thats my experience for what its worth

    the trap i have is the one in the Link on an earlier post.I made a simple frame from 8mm round bar this included the trapping cone area. I just covered the whole lot in chicken wire. It took about an hour to put together and maybe 5 or 6 euro in total

    dragged out the magpie trap on tuesday . baited it every morning arrived home this evening to find 4 magpies inside,no call bird needed,cheap and cheerful trap and it works

    A couple of years ago i had a few magpies eating eggs in my hen house and even attacking young goslings.I found a site with instructions and drawings of a magpie trap. I made one trap it took about a week to start working.One evening i checked it and found seven magpies inside over the next few days i trapped over twenty magpies.If anyone asked me how many magpies were around i would have said maybe six.Anyway the site i found was . http://www1.agric.gov.ab.ca/$departme...f/all/agdex3946
