    Those yellows are nice pretty birds but i just can't help but think nothing is as nice as natural in the colouring of all the finches bar redpolls..You must be pleased with what you've produced B&G as there cracking birds mate and well done..

    Trees can do that when it's been really dry and they go into a early autumn sort of look,we had it in Norfolk a couple of three years ago or so..

    It's not the rarest of things to find a pair of birds will just not feed a chick and even toss it out the nest and i think they know something is wrong with it so don't waste there time with trying to rear a non starter..

    Couldn't you sort of put a small float/bouy on it so you could collect it when taking out the next bait and just redrop it ?, might save having to make new ones up every time you go out..

    I use one myself it's a medium spinning rod that i used to troll rapala type lures( crank baits ) for sea bass.and i love it,good flex but plenty strong enough for double figure fish. ..

    Funny you should say Chaffinch as i booked myself in her diary for next year and it'll be coming from the goldie cock with it's head sort of pointing towards my left shoulder..I did say to the tattooist it'd be a shame not to skin me when i snuff it as i'm begining to make a nice lamp shade......

    Although she is a old friend of mine if i didn't think she was good enough she wouldn't be doing it and i'm 57 years old so have waited a while to fine the right artist to get a tattoo done by, i did do a bit of research on her work although i won a free tattoo for the first one in a comp she done again if i didn't think it good enough i wouldn't have had it done, some of her other work is even better than mine and i hand on heart couldn't be happier with my ones...
