It's on Hesgoal for free for anyone interested,i'm watching it and city are on fire and it half time right now..

Using over sea's long distance runners to catch a native sprinting animal is a poor do imo and is the reason i will never get my head around why folk think it's the dog dangly's of a thing to do, not looking for a row just how i see it Mc..
-
It does to me to and there's no way i'd leave a dog either as if you can't stand the heat you shouldn't be in the kitchen but you can't also cnut someone off when you only know the facts that the old bill are giving you and then for other "hunting men" to call them baiters just because they slipped a lurcher on a badger is also bollocks as like it not plenty have done so in days gone past and few of them would admit to being baiters as there not, just big game hunters with lurchers....Anyway that's it from me as i'm not trying for the row but to me it's all just made up anti pre election bulls

Says a Deer hunter who's seasons co inside with shooting pregnant doe's .......
-
My mistake then, you just stood with the crowd and watched rather than had a dog involved (just like 4 of those lads did ). But baiting is where you fight two animals not where a lurcher catches one and to use the words baiting when describing it is daft as not everyone of here with a lurcher that hunted bigger quarry from foxes, goats to red deer went out baiting, they just hunted gear that there dogs needed a hand in killing it...I'm not defending them lads but i sure as shit ain't chucking them under a bus either as i wasn't there to say what they were doing but there's some words being writte

Hope you go onto the shooting page and cnut off all them fox shooters out this time of year as well as they all got litters down as well, but jigsaw didn't you used to trial dogs against old brock?,you know where they dragged a bagged badger from a wooden tunnel time and time again to see if there dogs would make a sound when brock got hold of them.. Some fecking rightous folks on here at times...

Sounds like and that set up shows he's got the suss of his birds, nice double breeders with spare cages for the youngsters .Nice and simple ,spotless and clean and easy for both the man and his birds and also shows less can be so much more sometimes as it gives you that better quality time and with any livestock keeping that is a good thing than being under pressure and almost rushing your chores instead of them being the enjoyment and half the reason why you keep livestock in the first place and with that quality time come better quality livestock.. Just brilliant, am honestly chuffed for

I will get some birds at some point in the not to far future, i just got a bit to much on to give them the time i'd want to give them but in the next few years will see me on a aviary build. That's grand news and he's doing just right with those numbers for sure and please wish him well from me as like i said before a man of total manners and glad he's doing well with the hobby.. Grab some pics the next time your there and what sort of canaries does he keep?..

I was watching a pair of goldies at work this week building in some ivy in a ash tree as it goes and before now iv'e had redpolls with young end of feb outside but it is a funny year weather wise and weather does have a massive effect on captive birds.. I do miss this time of year with the birds with waiting to see what happens although the stress i don't miss when it don't happen but as with all livestock keeping you will not win them all and again the very best of luck to you and everyone else mate..

Sorry to piss on your joke sandy ,but that sand is on metal drain covers to stop the horses slipping or shying away from them because they know there slippery... Bit of a shit joke to be honest mate..

It's only may and it's been cold and the weather can't make it mind up,the wild finches are just getting started themselves now there's enough leaf on the trees to help hide their nests. So no need to panic yet people and just give them good food, plenty of choice of nesting pans and places, also different nest materials and give them peace and the rest is up to them... Big good luck to everyone this year....

Stopped a lorry once and said a few words to either norman tebbit or micheal hesletine (time has deleted the memory a bit) one night at about 4 in the morning outside the houses of parliment. Me and a pal had been at a Spectrum night (one of the very first rave clubs and i was on the VIP open guest list) at Heaven night club (one of the gayest clubs ) and we were to awake to doss sown in the back of the old Bedford telecom lorry we were in so we headed back out of the city and as we went passed the houses of parliment there was a crowd outside some gates with one of the above in the crowd. Now

Rob done a foxes head for me that to be honest should have gone in the bin but he did his magic and i have fond reminder of a good little bitch from the past..I remember that piece and as been said stunning indeed...Good luck with the life's new venture ..

What don't you like about it ?..

You just mind Francie ,his knickers got all twisted up the last copper he heard about on here. But where were you based as one of us might have had the pleasure of punching you in the face in the past....

Maybe a bit soon for Len jokes but we won't make a song and dance about it.....

Just my thoughts but it'll be down to diet and how it feeds, it's not predated on so it'll be diet as nothing else makes things adapt or evolutionize if that's even a word ?....
-
I'd say out in the wilds it very rarely happens so it'd certainly never happen enough for any traits to stick through inbreeding...
-
Good chances it'll be a Dunnock, almost exactly the same bird living the same way as a Robin does..
-
They have a shorter muzzle as well, feck knows where i read it but a few years back i was talking to a keeper who's not to far from Ipswich with his shoot and he's noticed over the last 40 odd years of keepering that the foxes he's taken have been getting shorter in the muzzle and i did see a article about how it is happening across the UK.It's a rare thing to see adaptation or evolution taking place in ones life time as it usualy takes a good number of years to happen out in the countryside....
-
I always used to pick up bits of bark and old logs for the birds to peck over and occupied birds with something to do cause a lot less hassle than bored birds do at nesting time as well. As for my lad (iv'e been his old man for 19 years so class him as my own) if he stays alive and out of harms way job done and as long as he don't ruin his life like i did with drugs then again job done and that's all that matters to me mate..

Manky arse end or having the shelf space to have a complete stuffed fox or having the wall space for a shoulder mount , bit of pelt for a puppy toy or to train a tracking dog with?..
-
Might have been a fox shooter if it's been skinned some what, maybe it had a good head and is going to be a shoulder mount or something along those lines.Either that or the local chinky...
