It's not a out and out hunting book,but is about the deer and also about hunting them with lurchers and it is a good read to be honest, but not sure it's a £100 book..

What are your perches like as they could be a factor in why it has a clubbed foot,i used to always have different size perches so there feet would have to grip differently.But i have known of birds with bad feet like yours breed ok, the best of luck with him mate..

Iv'e never carried or seen so many dogs carried off or jack as such as the when on a chink night after xmas on the flooded water meadows of the norfolk marshes, seen all sorts coursing breeds, collie x's bull x's jack because the going got to much for them, our dogs did very well out there as they were at it a few nights a week and day time mooches but a hard easterly wind off the north sea ,shin deep in water 70 % of the time and plenty to run at soon sorted the fit dogs out..

I had a pal who used to pinch derv from sleeper cabs (he's dead now so he won't me telling the story) he had a fiesta car with the back seat taken out and a 45 gallon drum in the back and he had a 12 volt drev pump and a hole cut in the floor of the motor so he could put a pipe out of it without it being seen. One night he went off to score (he had a habit) and on the way back he saw a parked up lorry so pulled up behind it and instead of pulling the pipe out from underneath he just pulled it out the passenger window and sneeked it in the lorry tank and went back to his car and switched on the

Bottom line is were humans and were a tribal people and warriors is another one but there all things a tribe needs to survive, like not all dogs are hunters,some are trappy early warning systems,some are fighters etc etc as there things a pack needs to survive.. It's DNA'd in everything and does cuase torment if it's not ever let loose... -
My first year junior school teacher was a beardy hippy with purple shirts, cords, sandles and even a cravat and he rode a horse to school, me and another lad used to take it water and food in buckets at break times. We once had a spell of tuck money going missing from coat pockets and one day when he knew who it was he grabbed this gypo kid by the ankles and shook the money out of his pockets holding him upside down.

Wonderful times and one thing i did notice is how much more colourful life was and i mean actual colour, the homes,clothes and even the cars were so much more colourful and it sort of makes life a lot duller than it used to be..Nice one Tomo....
