  1. Wonderful times and one thing i did notice is how much more colourful life was and i mean actual colour, the homes, clothes and even the cars were so much more colourful and it sort of makes life a lot duller than it used to be..Nice one Tomo....

  5. I once spent 3 weeks on remand in HMP Woodhill for driving offences and one of my charges was failing to change my address on my driving licence( i had a provisional when i was a teenager many years before), the fact i didn't even have a currant driving licence made it a slightly amusing charge to give me....
  6. You don't have to hand it to them it's just the information on it they can look at, you paid for that bit of paper or plastic and it belongs to you so just make them read it and not touch it.

  8. First one sometime in the 80's the yogurt fight was in the 90's, we divided ourselves into teams (there was about 15 of us) and set the Bedford CF flat bed as base and we took it in turns to try to attack it and get on the back of it to win. It was during the summer and honestly mate the pickup was covered and we were just ripping off the lids on the pots and chucking them at each other and we were just as pink and minging as the pickup was. We just pilled on the back of the pick up and drove to a ford at a not to far river and washed it all off and what a laugh that day was for sure , also pr
  9. Years ago when i lived on site a skip run on a sunday to the super markets was a regular thing to do, a little story of one i went on in warminster at the tesco's. Sunday and i drove a marina van to the Tesco skip in Warminster from Salisbury as it was worth the 40 odd mile round trip and we weren't disappointed as me and a pal filled the van to the roof with all sorts of foods, sandwiches.fruit, dairy meats absolutely to much to list and all of it was in date. Filled the van and started to drive home and passed the old bill and got a tug, they lookedi n the van didn't believe us and we ended u
  10. Was joking to be honest but using a cast net does get folks interested until you start to pull in a net full of fish then the on lookers who 30 seconds before thought it a bit cool turn into anti's who think your a proper wrong un for catching so many fish.
  11. Used to catch a lot of 4- 5 lb ones from the shore in Pembrokeshire but my pb is a guessamate from the captain of a boat out of penzance at 17 lb and that was on the first drop of a trip my brother took me on for my birthday a number of years ago, Nice fish though Dave and bet that put ab end in the rod,,
  12. To be honest i'd say chucking any hook into a fish filled river like that isn't sporting in anyway and i'd be using my cast net more than a rod..
  13. Quick story but i was once begging in Nuneaton for a bit and used to have a very neat and tidy looking nuttal bred patterdale and the amount of dog food i used to get given and treats for the dog u had to give most of it away to be honest and if i'd have let it eat everything offered to it it'd been a fat over weight thing. But one day i went to a cafe to get a cup of tea and left the dog on my pitch with my stuff and some ladies in a mobile newspaper stand offered to look after my dog as well,i ordered my tea and popped back out the cafe about 50 yards away from my dog only to see a group of
  14. Me and a fella called Nickem on here used to hunt on flooded water meadows and he had a merlin/eve bred dog that did very very well on it, i had a bull x bred by Nickem and she was built like a brick shithouse but was only 23/24 tall. We were out very regularly and these dogs were good at there jobs, other folks dogs came and caught but just didn't have the stamina needed for the deep going, they were all sorts ,bull x's ,coursing breds ,collie x's and even Buck came and had some fun although the fecker nearly pulled my arm off I think regular running on it makes the difference as all the oth

  16. Many years ago i watched a video call Executions and it was a very rough documentary about different executions and i chucked it on one time and sat back. 15 seconds in i turned the fecker off for a deap breath as that was harsh, scene was a woman being handed over to a mob by soldiers in a army jeep in some african market and the mob hacking her up. The video went on with shit like that and other african chop up with machete's etc., there were hangings, electric chairs shootings all sorts on it and i wish 30 years on i'd never watched it as that poor lasses fate has stuck with me...
