    Its always a problem water. Drink bottles often leak and we all know ferts love to turn over water bowls. I used a chicken drinker in the run I had attached to their hutch wasnt a problem it it leaked cos it went on the ground.     We got permission on our local course its a nice drive round in the vitara with the 22 and HMR. Sod walking!!!

    Looks very nice and a steal at the price! I still use a .22 Titan manitou (see avatar) and wouldnt swap it. May well do a stock job on it soon, get rid of the gloss finish they used and just oil it!

    This always worked for me as well. Always let them nibble a finger from an early age they soon get to know it isnt food and stop. All the years I kept ferrets I never had any that bit the hand that fed them!!

    Calcium deficiency was the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title. Mate of mine had one exactly the same, I read up on it for him and it came right once he'd put it on a diet of raw chicken wings. This has been on here a few times before over the years, so I don't think it's all that uncommon. Good call ! I had a jill years back which was the same.     There is no hard and fast rule for getting permission. PlasticJock's advice is sound. Sometimes its not what you know but who you know We just got a years contract on 2200 acres within 6 miles of home looks real good but we went out last night and it was useless! I know crops are high but we didnt see signs of rabbits and no eyes except munties!
