    Thanks Kay. Tried it with the recipie in the book for 'white' bread. Turned out the colour of mederia cake! Used Canadian strong bread flour, nicked of me mum! Texture was OK'ish but why the 'yellow' colour?

    Jack Daniels aint proper whiskey and as for Bells :sick: only drinkable if you drown it with something! Only 'blend' worth drinking is Famous Grouse! Try making sloe whiskey with the Bells at least its drinkable then Has to be a single malt at least! Best one I had recently was Glenlivet 15 year old French Oak Reserve. [not sure about the 'French' bit]

    Was recently reading a review of the updated version of the S16, ( S16s evo ). From what it was saying it knocks spots of the old model, and again it was one of the guns on my shortlist. Have used it myself its whisper quiet but a bit heavy for me Wont be the S16s though but as I said if its had 500 pellets through it that all its done. Basically its new! Were in Cambs

    Nice one mate fox are vermin after all! Have a friend who shoots many foxes his average is around 115 per year. He has set himself a 'season' for foxes!

    Wouldnt hang rabbit myself. My dear old great aunt always skinned jointed asap and put it in salt water in fridge overnight. She then made rabbit pie with a bit of pork belly in it was lovely but I aint got the recipie it went to her grave with her I have done em in slow cooker and its great seems to 'bleach' the meat comes out nice and white. Also half grown ones on the barbie after a bit of a marinade are nice!

    Just been 'given' a breadmaker. Anyone use one and have good recipies? Also says you can make jam in it!

    Any I miss when out shooting Did have both Jackdaw and Magpies as 'pets' when I was a kid. Both were clever feckers! You can get em to talk!

    Mate has a Logun S16 for sale complete kit moerated rifle bipod laser scope carry bag etc pm me if interested it the dogs and has hardly been used.

    Will be 53 in Jan got first rifle at 13, a Diana G23 in 177 still got it as well! Progressed to a BSA MK6 Airsporter in 22, still got that! Also have a Crossman pump in 177 and a foreign breakbarrel 177 but cant remember what it is (gift from my father in law) Now using a Titan Manitou in 22, forunner of the Falcon F19. If anyone interested in the 'oldies' let me know!

    Jazz fleas need a 'warm' host. If you leave bunnies to get cold there are rarely any fleas on em!

    Just for reference was also told by Deben that MK3 collars work with the MK1 locator to 11 feet you just need to re-calibrate the wheel! MK1 collars wont work with the MK3 locator

    Spoke to Deben re MK1 and was informed about the new MK3 collar at the time. They said its now leather, step in the right direction at least, didnt say it was gonna be massive though! Why dont they listen to people who use the things and develop 'new' products from there!!!

    Just had a long conversation with Deben re the MK1 locator. The guy was quite helpful but it went as follow. Deben no longer service or have parts for this model. Production was stopped about 3 years ago and all parts have now gone! It was made for them, under licence, and is patented to them. They will not provide any information on the electronics in the box because of this. They do not know anyone who can service. The MK3 collars work with a MK1 box to 11feet, but you, obviously, have to recalibrate dial to suit. MK1 collars do not work with a MK3 box! I did say that as there we

    Hi pit I got a Titan Manitou forrunner of the FN19. It loves air arms field, they are just over the 16 grain mark. Have spoken to Falcon who set all guns, before sale, with Bisley Magnums. This keeps the MV to just below 12ft lb on their rifles, therefore legal on all other pellets! Still think its a personal preference thing. Do remember having a tin of BSA huntsman, again just over the 16 grain mark, and the Titan loved them as well!!
