    As had been said 12G but I personally wouldnt touch a semi with a barge pole! Oh and just to add if your doing a lot of walking the 20G will be a lot lighter.

    Clever guy for sure but lots of logic is applied if you watch him. He usually trains the owners as much as the dogs!! Dogs are never real bad they usually get the wrong upbringing from an early age.

    I do remember one winter getting 22 pigeons for two shots (12bore) into a flock on rape! I stalked the flock up a hedge and as the rose shot a 'left and right' Flock was so dense that I picked up, with the help of my old springer, 22 birds!! Hard to believe but totally true. Will probably never do it again tho

    Hi Mate, Consider yourself very lucky! I have one of these in mint condition and they are superb! Forrunner to all the Falcon guns. If you want it back to its best get in touch with John Bowkett. He designed the things and was heavily involved with the set up of Titan. The actions were imported and adapted to suit the complete range. Barrels are Walther. Sure he can advise you and no doubt get it back to its best for a fee!! All the best Mark

    How long is a piece of string? Remember ferreting a small warren once, about 6 holes. Waited for ages for fert to appear when suddenly about 25yds away a rabbit bolted! Knew the hole was there but assumed, stupidly, it was a different warren!

    My godfather used to have ESS's and we all know they have ear problems! He had a 'recipie' for a treatment which I will try to get and post here. From memory it was a mix of Tetmasol and peroxide! Watered down obviously! His dogs ears were always clear and didnt smell!

    If I were you I would 'enquire' if there is a local vet who will still dock for working reasons. Someone must surely know one? Whilst I personally hate undocked dogs illegal docking carries a hefty fine nowadays. The alternative is, as mentioned, to put the bitch with a dog known to throw pups with no tails

    Nice kit mate! My shooting buddy has a stealth also a nice gun! May well be for sale See my avatar for my set up. Titan Manitou in .22 basic 4 x 40 scope never felt the need for greater as most shots are under 40yds! Does the job for me
