    If asked 3 year back i would have said i hate white dogs and wall eyed feckers, no way would i own one, went to see a litter had 6 or 7 to choose from, yep you guessed it came home with the white wall eyed bugger lol.

    Chartpolski, thats cracking numbers, and what i like is its done night after night, and that to me is a proper dog, Although ive had Kevin Keegan and Graeme Souness on the phone asking for their hair and tash back lol. i owned a Ferari once, never got out of first gear, never went over 30 in it, couldnt see the point, so i never found out if it was fast or if it could corner well, or last for a few miles, as before it got warmed up i took it home as i thought i could just take it for a spin tomorrow and do the same. When i look back i just wasted that car, and it would have been better suite

    Speak for yourself Nightti. I meant us as a whole not me personaly lol, anyway i cant read or write. If he doesnt self publish JD is that even worse? lol as that makes 2 sets of people who have to make money out the books to make it worthwhile, thats it when i learn to read and write and draw as good as him im writing me some books.

    Do these folk who write books have to self publish?, if so he must be selling enough to make money or he would soon stop, which begs the question, are we getting the standard of books we deserve, because lets face t , its us keeping him in the money.

    Wow thanks Leigh(im filling up lol) i have had Star off the lead nearly all her life and she has run around with the older dogs, i love to get those lungs and muscles working , not sure if its true or if i just made it up in my own head, but i beleive that exercise will increase bone density and obviously muscle mass, will give strong heart and lungs, and a fit young un will make a fitter older un, but it is a fine line to tread( if Ratcatchers on here, he would know if im talking bollocks, as hes the man in the know for nutrition and exercise)

    Not seen any in the flesh Moomin apart from yours, but i have had the lad from Workington on the phone a couple of times saying he loves the dog and it seems to pick things up instantly(wish mine would).I cant get over how much May and Ruby look alike, maybe May will be a bit bigger alround by the sounds of it, which gets me out of jail a bit as i picked it that way lol, im just glad they have gone to caring homes, its all you can ask, i also hope they do a job for yous, its a fraught time,bringing on a pup, and full of pitfalls as i know first hand but fingers crossed it works out.

    A few pics of May and Rubys sister with her mum Kiera, sorry their mum Kiera, dont know exact size of her but she wieghs a ton lol, looks around 22-ish, she is built like the preverbial outhouse, is very front end heavy,has legs like bits of 4x2s, and has a head like a bucket, although you cant tell by these pics.

    20 odd year back a friend of mines mum had 2, we used to sneak them out ferreting and bushing, never saw them catch a rabbit in the open on a run so to speak but they used to pull them out the gorse bushes and retreive them with a bit of a struggle. I have to agree they were horrible little things, that looked like a stiff breeze would break them , but they were tougher than they looked

    I must have given hundreds if not thousands to the game dealers over the years, and never been pulled up for it, as long as they still had the weight on them the gamies werent bothered.

    Got my coppies of Chippers 2 dvds the other day but only got time to watch them yesterday. The first one features Chippers Bob, doing daytime work to ferrets, it was filmed by just the lads themselves and as a result has a really authentic feel to it, which i personnly like, Bob is a great stamp of a dog and is the proof that not all great rabbiting dogs have to be around the 20-23 inch mark, as Bob standing at 26 inch snaps up rabbits with as much class as i have seen in any dog, and ofcourse he has the usuall great retrieve that Chipper seems to get all his dogs to do(show off lol)i would re

    To be honest Mitch, we over here are looking for such a beast as yourself, the search has been going on for centuries now lol, that is why there are so many crosses out there, if we had found the perfect one we would all have the same dog, im afraid what you are looking for sounds like the (some would say mythical)perfect all rounder, i wish you luck in your quest.

    She hasnt half lightened up, i thought she was going to be red like Soz, but shes gone fawny(is that a word?) looks a better colour imo, it reminds me of the colour Skys sister went after it changed from blue to fawn.
