    Yous feckers must have short memories, feckin hell Stiffie that board went tits up because it was one big clique, with secret rooms here and there, and special(dont tell anyone, its just for real dog lads this room, shite.)boards all over the shop, i remember you throwing your toys out the pram when you visited someone and seen their computer had diferent boards to yours, it caused one of the biggest upsets on any board , and imo, was the begining of the end of what was the best board out there.

    I dont think it is Vermin Dropper,(although i dont know exact breeding of either, not all the way back,and as Kieras lines go back around 40 years you never know,)but from head on i doubt i could pick them appart.

    I love them, and i love Dave, i think hes great, and produces some of the finest dogs ever seen, i cant see why he gets slagged off all the time, i think hes fan dabie dosie.

    Not realy anything but a nearly average rabbiting bitch Oldy, has taken Hares daytime,and nightime but is in no way a hare dog, has also been into quite a few Roe with my old Minshaw dog, some first in, but has only caught and held 1 on her own, has never ran a fox, not my game no interest in them at all, so i supose the answer is just the same realy.

    Went out last night, weather was poor, dew on the grass and still as it could be, no easy rabbits around, little dog had to work for them all, ground seems to have got harder again, so i had a quick spin round some sand quarries, near home,where the ground would have a bit of give, i very rarely do them as everyman and his dog does them, but i must have been quicker off the mark than them this year lol.

    many many moons ago RH2006, we used to make our own toggle slips, you can buy the clips for a few pence(or you could) and use any sort of webbing as a collar, get a cheep nylon lead(flat webbing type) unstitch the hook ,and fold in half lengthways sow up neatly, and attatch to clip, put a hole in your slip clip release bit????, if that makes sence, run a cord from it up through your lead and tie a bit of wood to the end, these worked fine, but to be honest i never liked them , i would rather just have my dog half trained and under a bit of controll, all the best.

    Man i know exactly what you mean Dodger, used to go up to Peebleshire from cumbria to lamp, and used to hit some right pea soupers on the old Moffat road, was a right heart breaker.

    Great thread, although i wish i could borrow some of this sixth sense everyone else seems to have, i get that involved in lamping i once had a keeper drive right up behind me in a landrover(on a still night!!!) just as i was about to slip on a big fella and let a shotgun go right near me, i didnt even know he was there till i heard the bang lol, i fecking shit me'sen.

    Got some real rain yesterday, and i just couldnt hold myself back(the close season is long enough and i lost alot of time last year with the bitch having pups, so i was champing at the bit)it was warm and still, but i went anyway. Kiera having had the summer off was looking well but in truth was a bit soft, even though i had tried to keep her as fit as possible through the summer, well she ran like a dream, and at the end of the night, i was knackered she was knackered and a great night was had by both(its a hellish place i was lamping as there is only 1 drop off point on the way round and by
