Well done mate on your first kill of the season many more to come

My Mrs was bored sat at home with the kids and how they all moan "Im bored what can I do" and I thought I got just the thing, so rounded me crew up and in the truck we went. I was loughing all the way to the flying ground BEATERS, BEATERS, BEATERS got to the ground chucked the kids out with the Mrs with the bird unhooded her and with all the racket the kids were making a hare got up about 30 yards away. I know my harris flies hare but never killed one as for the last 2 seasons she has been hit and kicked by the buggers so I wasn't expecting a kill and was pushing my luck with her weight anyway

well after all that nice weather we had and me F****** up on weight yesturday but still flying 1oz over her hunting weight she was keen tonight so decided to have a little work through another carrot field within 5 minutes bolted a buck rabbit that was sat tight on top of one of the rows twisting and turning down and cross the tram-lines nice little 60 yard flight for the cover it had to hide in.

Well could be a hard job really from 2 point of views choosing 1st point being would you choose one of the two at the back eyeing up something through the roof (2nd) or would you choose the one on the right which has sussed you out looking through the spy hole If I had to choose it would 90% be the one on the right sat by itself but then again Im not a fussy bugger.

What pellets are you sticking through it mad al? are you shooting a .177 or .22?

Ive had 1 or 2 rabbits this year so far that I had with the .22 and what the bird has catched think they need to give up smoking.

Well I haven't been flying for the last two day as it has been way to windy this end for that had about of a break in the rain so grabbed the keys and off I went, got to my flying ground and saw a covey of partridge trying to dry off in a clear patch 100 yards away so jumped out of the motor and went into stealth mode managed to get 50 yards away and unhooded Abi, she see them straight away off she went. 3 to 4 partridges broke with a dozen still on the deck as she near enough over the top of them. 2 got up together as she was locked-on to the first one that broke changing her mind in full fli

There was a lot of "hoo haa" last year about 216 freq I know a few people that still use it and they have said that all they have found with it is that it causes abit more interferance to the band. Im still playing safe with 173 freq.

Weighed me old macfanwee tonight and was supprised she was bang on the same weight as last night though she had 2 doc's and both sides of the carrion's breast so out we go again. Walked down a grass bank with a beet field to my left and a carrot field to the right bird following on nicely then all of a sudden came SWITCH OFF MODE called and called as she was looking at a clear spot about 20 yards into the beet field, off she went following one half of the tram-line she pulled up about 20ft in the air and then carried on for about 50 yard more and done the same, pulled up and bang she was on

I noticed a white crow today at work thought it was a feral at first but it looked to big so I drove passed it in the tractor as they dont take no notice us lot rawing up and down the fields just wish I had my big camera with me, saying that you might see it laying on its side with a Spar sitting on top of it before long

the farms around this way use to catch rooks, crows and jackdaws in multicatchers and bleach half a wing or a full wing and the same with the tail feathers and each farm had there own feather so to speak so every farm knew how far these corvids flew and which farms they were flying to and from.

Well after p***ing down most of the day thought I would make a quick dash for it and fly the FHH, as soon as I pulled up on the flying ground I could see a nice big plump carrion about 400 yards away lucky thing was I was right for the wind. I managed to get around a heap of rubble and down into a ditch which by this time was about 100 yards for the little f****r eating worms or something, crept along the ditch for about 50 yards or so took the hood off Ab's and broke cover. Well put it this way, I thought HH's were just slow, fat and lazy and this crow must of really been taking the P*** unle

Welcome to the world of bull**** Richy. I dare say the only way to find out about your bird is DNA testing though there are some and only some first class falconers and breeders that could tell you through a photo by the legs ect. tbh I have never neard of a female flying at that weight, round about 1lb 13 probably the lowest I have heard but then again I have a friend in the Fens that has a male which has been DNA tested and flies at bang on 2lb.

Well Ab's was back down in weight due to the rabbit she had 2 days ago, so me being me decided to get the push bike out, got to my land 1/2 miles away WELL F***** 5 minute walk, 20 minute rest walked all in all about 2 miles just about to pack up ready to come home and a partridge broke from 20 yards away BANG the biatch left the fist and after about 100 yards the partridge looked like it baled out into a garden with my HH miles behind. Well what I can work out is that my HH had landed in a tree, WRONG called her and called her not a thing so back I went looking for her. When I did find he
