    Bells

Personally I don't think it makes any difference if you have 1 bell or 20 bells, tail or leg mounted if the bird its self is fit enough it will hunt and kill no matter what

    Bells

I agree with Blaze, 1 on leg and 1 on decks. I would definitely have 1 on the tail they are ideal when your bird is up a tree and also especially when the spring gets here and the tree's starts budding up.
  7. Brilliant picture's Wag good going

  9. If its just one or two tail feathers I wouldn't worry to must my Harris has only got 11 tail feathers due to her slamming into a hedge after a cock pheasant earlier in the season and my spar has only got 10 but they will soon come through during the moult are they the decks that have snapped ? I have a full set if you need them

    lures

I only have broadwings and shortwings and they are flown to the fist the only time and reason I use a lure with them is when they don't come down to the fist as a last resort (my shotgun) but if for some reason I do use it I give it one or two swings and then let it hit the deck and by that time the bird is on its way, so its got to be a swinging lure for me

Just be careful mate when feeding stuff which has been shot the slightest piece of lead in the crop can cause lead poisoning. I would always go for a head shot knowing that it has been hit in the head then throw the head in a bush or the bin. good luck bud keep us posted
  13. Does anyone know how long Natural England have been incharge of the licensing of Quarry licences do DEFRA still grant them ?
