    This is usually a good show, well last few times i have been. Not so good this time :( seemed a bit disorganized. Still a good turnout though.

    Came accross a Harris hawk earlier on today when i was out with the dogs. It was sitting on a fence post so i slowly approached it and got within 1ft of it before it took off and settled in a nearby tree. Had the dogs out for a couple of hours then went back to see if i could see it again. There it was again sitting on a fence post in the same area. Approached it again and it took off and landed on a pylon. This was around 2pm today in the Backworth area, bottom end of the golf course besides the Bistro Bar and Grill

    I run a Saluki/GreyXGrey/Deer 27" tts, The only fault he has is he hunts up if he misses on the lamp, so he is used daytime and lamp with me other dog. Here is a few pics

    Chicken carcass,minced chicken carcass, beef and tripe, lambs ribs,necks and bones, spratts, veg boiled and mashed up,brown rice and the odd egg, table scraps and rabbit. my Lurchers for some strange reason love tomatoes and pears but my Terrier wont entertain them. Basically my dogs are fed better than me.....

    Was out mooching through the fields with the Lurchers and Terrier last week, when i saw a couple coming towards with me that looked like they had a Deerhound with them. When i got up to them and had a chat with them about their dog(which was actually a pup) I asked them what the age and breeding of the dog was. They said it was 10 months and was a 3 Q Deerhound/1 Q GreyX KC Borzoi :hmm: The pup must of stood at 30" + tts :icon_eek: :icon_eek: Just had a trawl through epupz and came accross this(hope the link works) http://epupz.co.uk/c...asp?view=435481 Whats your opinion on this cross?

    Ive 2 lurchers and 1 terrier, Costs me about £2 per week this is for the codliver oil and keepers mix. They are fed on lamb ribs and necks, chicken carcass,tripe and beef off cuts which i get off me brother-in-law for free as he works for a wholesale butchers :thumbs: :D and nearly forgot rabbits :huh:

    Get all mine off me brother-in-law as he works for a wholesale butchers. Lamb ribs. meaty bones etc etc... costs me 8 cans of Fosters every other week :thumbs:

    Both my dogs have to jump as the land i take them on has plenty of fence obsticles. As BIRD says its hard enough to carry your lamp kit + rabbits without carrying your dog. If you cant get over,then go through. Atb DEKA

    What year and model? I have a 2006 Trojan from new and have no problems with it :thumbs: It regualary tows my caravan and often go off road when im out with the dogs.
