    hi snizle 68 no mate it did not matter how big or small or shallow or deep the dog was entered the only ground that was not liked was ash pits as you could jump on the top and hear it give way father down and smother your dog john

    the t bar as i remember was used before locaters were made they were shoved into the ground till it was solid then you put your ear to the bar and listen to the dog baying bumping or making contact with its game by moveing and listening you pinpoint your dog at the loudest point then drop your hole

    pip you cage wonts to be 36ins long 15ins deep 14ins high bigger if poss with a wire slid in the middel keep the slide in cock one side hen the other feed them both a good seed and clean water for 2/4 days then give a littel eggfood aswell to the cock he should start to feed the hen through the wire slide when this hapens remove the slide and they should be paired 2 nest nestpans about 1/2 way up 1 at each end add natral nest fiber and a bit of luck you will be o/k add a bit of soakseed to the eggfood
