  1. Love my Carhartt Bibs, but no proper kneepads in them.
  2. What was the name of the squeaking caller the warrener used on one of his videos when snaring foxes, looked about the size of a coke can that he hung in a tree.
  3. All of this stuff has already been developed, you can buy electronic squeekers for the states used to draw foxes etc into traps/snares,remote monitor traps are available and i even saw on youtube the other days some guys with a cage around a hog feeder that had a camera link to the guys iPhone, when the hogs went in,it sent live footage to his phone, then he could press a button and drop the trapdoor.
  4. I wear Snickers work trousers with knee pads in,When i am mole trapping i kneel on my spade to keep out of the mud.
  5. We just lost a local guy to it,he caught it through a cut on his finger.
  6. Nite Site now make a smaller battery and stock mount bag to hold it.
  7. B & Q basic mouse traps,no bait just set them 90 degrees to the wall
  8. Seems to me that the only antis we need worry about are the moderators,if we dare not show what is legal then what is the point of a hunting forum?Stand up for our sport please.
  9. Is there a problem with snaring cubs?Is it not legal??
  10. I had the taller Harris bipod and did not like it so i swapped for a shorter one,i found the taller one on its lowest setting it was too tall for me to to be comfortable prone.I would always have the tilting model.
  11. The thing is that most would be happy to put a Fenn trap a few inches inside a rabbit hole, but many would not feel so happy to use a cubbie with the same small amount of overhang.I suppose in the real world if we could set traps and label each one clearly to keep the dog walking gang informed we would be doing a better job,but with the risk of theft and damage to traps few would do so.Perhaps its time for the big organisations to inform the general public about trapping and also about subjects such as the correct use of poison bait etc,to me they seem to spent too much time on their members wh
  12. I sadly had a great tit caught in a bait box in a T Rex trap so no trap will ever be really safe especially when going for prey as big as rabbits.
  13. I would agree with the last post,i would prefer to use a short cubbie wide enough to cover a set trap rather than just the wire of the fence, although i know which would catch better.Catching not target species willl always be a problem and when catching rabbit a 6" tunnel of wood or wire is of little protection to them regardless of length. In many ways a Body Grip type trap should have a different set of rules to a Fenn type trap.
  14. Well done Logun, nice work yet again,i would love the plans!
  15. Yes real Fenns,i have neck caught ones in new traps and still not dead, also the amount of rabbits that have been caught and got free bothers me,i double check the height to the roof of the tunnel, but i still get too many with just fur left in them,im always free to meet up for a lesson Nod to see what you do different.
