pref spade but i think you need both, some land i have has a lot of earths other land i have has none but there are a lot of foxes that are on it and a nuisance to birds so need to be controlled by shooting. -
as usual a thread has been started and a question asked and it has been read by lots of different people to mean different things with everyone (or most) moaning about everytihng and not really answering the question of WAHT IS THIS SITE FOR? Well it used to be to meet and chat with like minded people but i wouldnt say that anymore.

are the collars safe i heard that as the dogs run through bambles etc then can get snagged on them and break the dogs net also can you recermend any that maybe you have used or some one you know have used kirstydad cant get rid of this pup as she does whats she is breed for just want to stop her doing it Ricky if you know that this type of dog has been bred over many years and generations to go to ground WHY are you asking a silly question about trying to stop it going to ground!!!! surely you would be better off with a different type of dog

if you cant get hold of any stronghold i use Benzyl Benzoate which is sold over the counter at most chemists about £4-5, it is used for scabies and pediculosis in humans so will be safe for the dogs and works a treat good luck Adam

as people have said before you are best off getting a job with an established firm doing their in house training and if you pass that they will put you on the BPCA level one. What age are you, do you have a driving licence and where abouts in the country are you my firm is always on the look out for techs PM me with rough area and ill see if there is anything in your area. Also according to the general licence you should be able to demonstrate that you have tried non lethal methods first before shooting them. I know this came in a little while ago but not sure if it is still relevant
