I give my ferrets chicks once a week, with dry food. The yolk sack is a good sorce of fat and energy, and the meat is obviously protein. I also give them rabbit, pigeon, and minced tripe or beef. Variety is all good. Not had any problems.

I had a bit of a shock this mornin. Got home after a night out, (working then playing,) checked on the dogs, to find the run meshing had been peeled up from the bottom. As you can imagine i was gutted! All sorts of feelings rushing through my head. Why did i stay out, were are the dogs, Hate, and most of all that some p***y bas*ard had been in my property and stole from me. After the initial dash round the area looking for them, and asking the neighbours (who of corse saw or heard nothing) I got in the car and had a drive round. Couldnt see them anywere. I got home, sat ther a while with the

Cheers mate, trying to put a little weight on her, working her hard everyother night at the moment, and walking her in the day. So she is burning alot of energy, plus the oil is good for the coat.

Out again tonight with Lady, She is coming on ok, Working hard on her fitness. (wippet/bull x greyhound) Here is tonights trophy's. Im currently feeding her twice a day, morning and evening. With the evening meal i give her a drop of oil on her food, and the morning she has a cup of tripe on her complete dry food. Any comments welcome. Thanks for taking a look.

Was out lastnight lamping, bringing on a new dog to me. She is a 15month old wippet/bull x greyhound, from "archie" of here. She is coming on well, she takes a few runs to calm down, but then she becomes more switched on. Here is a pic of her. The terrier comes for the walk.

Went out for a hour on Sunday, Free bolted a few for the lurcher, (From "archie" of here, whippet/bull x greyhound) and a couple with the ferrets. The terrier, (Parsons Russell x lakeland from earthandhounds of here) had his first experience to earth, i dug down about 2 foot to a kill, but the as i got down, the rabbit dragged the jill a bit further up the set. So instead of going for a re dig, i showed the terrier the hole. He had a look and walked away. I called him back, he had a look again but this time he heard some comotion down ther. Well, he was in that hole like a rat up a drain pipe,

Could you tell us a bit more about the terrier, dog or bitch? Docked? Dewed? Rough/smooth coat? Leggy/short? A pic would be great........
