2 years ago I lined my springer with a bitch and she had 6 pups. We missed last year and have tried them again tonight. Not sure wether it is right but we've tried them on the 11th and 13th day of the bitch been in season. She is standing again but the dog doesn't seem interested. He will sniff and then just start sniffing about? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

drop boxes are a great way of catching them alive snaring them alive, it all depends on how you catch the rabbit in the snare some will just sit others will pull and pull until it dies and of course where abouts the snare is on the rabbit

i found one dead in the wood the other week looked like it had been hit by a buzzard great hole in the back of its head was size of buck rabbit roughly

good night lamping with lamperman

i pole cat could cost any one who keeps birds as a job thousands of pounds worth of damage, it is an estate which we shoot on and we would do anything to help the keepers out, and as for people who loose ferrets and polecats, put your hand in your back pocket buy a collor and box and take a spade to dig the ferett out, there is no excuses for people loosing ferrets they always come out. the pole cat is vermin there not many pole cats that size kept in cages. why is it whenever people put posts on here that you all disagree with what is put on have you got nout better to do! -
We had a walk around lampermans permission the other week but its the First time i have had time to sit and upload the photographs, we had a walk around the farm with the dogs, last year we shot more woodcock than pheasents but this year we have not seen many it has been wierd. We ended up bagging ten rabbits and 7 birds we both enjoyed it and the dogs slept well when we got in thanks for reading http://i1237.photobu...90/IMG_0281.jpg http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff463/shoota90/IMG_0030.jpg

We set away out rabbiting the other night, with the lamp and 22lr. we drove up to the farm, what looked to be a good night down here changed to be snowing once we got up onto the moor where the farm was, but not to worry we were there so we had a walk round, ended up bagging 5 rabbits, a hare what was not geting about well looked to have a bad leg, it was not running properly when we picked it, the hare was like a bag or rice to what had hapend i dont know.

after getting new permission a few years ago we have done the rabbits for him ever since, spent alot of time feeding the river up and getting ducks flighting in. Me and Lamperman share the permission and the farmer was complaining about foxes on his land, the problem we have is it backs onto a gypsy site and they are forever digging them on his land he said he had enough and wanted them gone. we looked at where he was crossing the river and there was a big red pipe which we use to cross it. The snow came and helped us out alot, there was 3 places where he was crossing and some of them you woul
