  1. Hi all i silly question but i need to ask, can you buy a scope that tells you the range of the target and if so what make, the price and best place to buy one.....you can tell i am just starting to shoot..

  7. well I just thought I would take the time to thank a few lads ( without telling there names ) for taken the time to speak with me to see if I would be wanting to go out on the land working the ferrets, I am pretty happy now I think I have made a few new pals, thanks to thl I have been speaking to people in different areas of the north east and will be going out soon with them the lads no who you are and I thank yous..cheers speak soon ....paul

  10. liam every body has told me to get different rifles, what the best for my price range, i have a scope and mounts etc..
  11. for a few weeks or so i have been asking different question about which sort of air rifle to buy, .22 a few lads say aa200/400 but i cannot make my mind up then there the question about weather or not to get a single shot or multi or a spring or pcp...the think is i have about 300/400 quid to get a good ish rifle but i cannot make my mine up...then on the other hand my mate as a logun sweet 16 which i think is canny but he's sent it back twice in about 8/12 months an advice ..
  12. chees for the reply my mates has been sent back to logun twice now the pellets where jamming about half way up the gun. i like the look of them but been slightly put off by this jamming ...is your s16 the first one or what..??

  17. Hi all, I could'nt understand my ferrets the other day. I shot a small to medium bunny on saturday and on sunday i put the rabbit in the ferret cage and the bloody ferrets just pushed it about, and kept putting there heeds inside the rabbit, but after a while there still never started eating it so i skinned the bunny and put it back in to see if this would make any difference which it never apart from they dragged it from the bottom or the cage floor upstairs and left it outside the sleeping box, after 2/3 hrs i looked to see how much was left and the little buggers left the whole think not ev

  20. cheers stubby i thought a basket was the bit at the bottom off the nets ie where the rabbits get caught up into if you no what i mean, cheer you any pics... thats sometimes referred to as the kill zone, or "the bag" as in bagging, a 50yd longnet would hopefully have 100yds of net on it, so when stretched out, its got "bag" in the net, a bit like your mums net curtains, also the height of the net, if stretched out would be about 4ft, but its set around 21" on the poles, giving "bag" in both directions cheers stubby that just answered my question about long netting..( by the w
