    Mules

    This is my greenfinch mule
  3. The bullfinch sings drunk on a rainy Friday afternoon drinking from the watercourse with the linseed floating down.
  4. I've seen a lot of photos of Indian game flocks online and compared to other breeds there seems to be a lot of people who keep 2 or more cocks together without too much trouble, although I've heard that Indian cocks usually get the better of cocks of other breeds when kept in the same flock.
  5. Very good, just need a nice cock to go with them now.
  6. I'm not so sure - have a nice time.
  7. Here's mine. One of my brown hybrid hens came in and chinned 2 of my Indian hens today within seconds
  8. I have a large Indian game cock with 3 hens. I got 2 hens first then got a pair a week later. When the 2 hens were in with the others they submitted to the other hens without even putting up a fight and the only ones they dominated were 3 much smaller than them. I have actually read that their pugnacity is only surpassed by their cowardice!
  9. This was a gamecock I had until he was stolen last February.
  10. In some cases when there's no cock about the dominant hen in the group can stop laying and start trying to tread the other hens and even crow but not change sex.
  11. It can be hard not to when they are really playing up but the dog more often than not doesn't really understand what you are asking of them but we expect them to know what we want - they aren't that intelligent. I think a calm but confident approach is good and I think a dog responds better to a person who gives off this energy more than people who are nervous, tense or angry and aggressive, even though I don't believe in dogs looking at us as pack leaders/followers.
  12. Thanks bully boy. I was interested in the bull terrier. I like the look of him and was wondering if you knew what his breeding is? Very nice dog and I like his markings as well.
  13. I have this photo saved on my computer from last year and if I remember right, I saved it off here but I can't find the topic with it in. I like the look of the dog and I'd be interested to know what his breeding is if the owner sees this.
  14. I know someone who despises showing and hates the stuck up show types who maybe keep 20 odd dogs or so in a block of kennels and does little else but feed them and let them out for a piss 2 or 3 times a day and breed a few just to conform to a daft breed standard, get excited about the shape of a dog's nostril, bob about a show ring for a little while, then find out what a person thinks of your dog and win a rosette. I'd get much more satisfaction from my dog catching more rabbits than my mate's dog because at least then he is proving what a good dog he is - I don't have to be told by someone
  15. What is the temperament of a Bedlington x whippet generally like? Are they easy enough dogs or quite difficult? Thanks.
