I dont know how people feel about alternative healing and whatever but my best mate has bred dogs for years and lost a top breeding dog and his litter to Parvo with the help of a vet (the only thing the vet did was give them a massive bill for the dead dogs). My mate decided that to try an old remedy she had been told about for beating parvo, Brewers yeast and natural yoghurt. She has since found that if it is caught early enough then they can be saved by giving them this combo. As I said earlier we only vaccinate pups when the buyer asks us to do so but if they do want them vaccinated they a

Ditch I just want to say Hallef*ckinglujah!! We dont vaccinate against parvo virus because in our experience many of the puppies vaccinated against develop it anyway. A friend of mine had a litter of pups that they had vaccinated of the 3 pups that they vaccinated 2 ended up with vomiting and diarrhoea and then having seizures. My mate has photos and videos of the seizures to show to conscientious f*cks who insist we are being cruel by not vaccinating. When we sell pups we prefer to sell them unvaccinated, but so many people dont want an unvaccinated pup which is why we give them the opt

Hi guys just wondering how you guys feel about vaccinating puppies? We only vaccinate if the buyer requests that it be done (an extra $50 is added to price to cover costs) what's the general consensus on here about vacc?

We now have our first litter from our bitch and our dog, both purebred Bloodhounds. A small litter of just 5 puppies, 4 bitches and 1 dog. Born 28th May. Hopefully they will find good homes late July. Their mother was trailing her 'victims' well before taking a break to whelp, Their father would rather trail a fox than a missing person but we now have a second bitch who is just amazing us with her scenting abilities, so we are not too concerned. We are very excited!! lol not that you can tell!! The proud Daddy The Proud Mumma

Hi Simoman I would have to say no except for entropian (where the eyelids fold inwards and eyelashes tend to rub on the cornea). But a good breeders (such as ourselves LOL should not be breeding from dogs with this problem, although many breeders are only after the dollar factor and so will breed and sell anything that even slightly resembles a bloodhound. If you have a look at our boy you will see his eyes are clear and show what a good eye should look like in a bloodhound.
-
Hi Guys, A crossbred Bloodhound and greyhound is very similiar in body type to a fox hound if thats any help Simoman, You would probably be amazed at just how fast this boy can move! For a big floppy dog he does have fairly good speed.
-
Well the price range for these guys tends to vary from around $800 to $1500 depending on whether you want papers or not. We don't actually hunt ourselves nowadays, just keep a few dogs and do the breeding side of things.

Thanks for the compliment, I tend to agree. A lot of the bloodhounds that are about nowadays (not that there is that many) are frankly not worth looking at. Our boy is a super example of the true bloodhound.
