Nice to hear some one working a Border

Well the title of this thread should of read "are Borders any good for earth work" .The lad puts up some pics of his litter and a few folk jump in slagging borders off anybody with common sense knows what as happened to a once good working breed which is also happening to other terrier breeds. KC and owners of borders have ruined their working ability. Anybody that still manage to work their borders (earth work) good luck to them.

A good read shamo. my own terrier when he here's the whip he will bark for some daft reason . As for hounds and horses they don't bother him.

Just read this thread. Whats every body has to remember is no fecker own's these so called hunt foxes, they are a wild creature (vermin what ever you want to call them) I did'nt relise that terrimen got payed I thought it was just the Huntman that was on a wage. With our local hunt the only bloke that get's to use terrier is of course the terrierman unless your lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time.

Borders make good little ratting dogs but then i'm byas. one of my borders will mark rabbit warrens when out ferreting. like what's been said I would'nt use one for retreiving to gun. If you end up with a Border be patient.
